2 现在科技发达了，在一些领域里面，以前的这些思想逐渐变成了非主流的思想（注意文章写得不是很清楚的）但是在人类的终极问题上，我们还没找到合理的解释，而这些人文问题也不是仅仅靠科技就可以解决的，所以，还是有其存在的必要性的

3 要认清，这些非主流的思想通常带有神秘的色彩，具有很强的鼓动性和煽动性，如果被不当的利用，会产生严重能够的社会问题，比如邪教组织一般就是这样产生的。要认清其对人类精神不只是有有力的一方面，用不好，也是有消极甚至是有害的。

4 他们不可能永远保持这样的位置，就已占星术为例，开始是主流的，在人类还不能用科技解释很多东西的时候，他是当时人们认为的最主流的，最合理的，但是现在已经退居非主流的位置。而且，随着科技的进步，其地位将越来越不重要，有一种退化的趋势。相反的，有些非主流的学说也会变得主流，比如达尔文的进化论，开始不是主流的，现在已经是常识了。

I agree that it would be very necessary for the existence of such nonmainstream areas. These reflect the human beings' efforts to explore the unknown world, astrology was used for predicted the future at first. Our ancestors had not enough knowledge to explain and predict the phenomenon around them, these nanmainstream areas gave them good explanation and that the most very reason they wrere found and prevalented for centuries.

On one hand, with developement of science and technologies, we can forecast weather through the artificial satelite not augury. These ideas were abandoned in those fields gradually. Nevertheless, the queastions about the ultimate, such as who we are? are there ghosts? How about my future fortune? these questions we still haven't good answers and the nonmainstream areas of inquiry as astrology , fortune-tellingand psychic and paranotmal pursuits can gave the questioners direct answers, though these answers might not always correct but they can satified them. Those made we human beings comfortable and easy.

On the other hand, those thoughts usually are mysterious, they have great instigation and agitation, if they were used by some evil purpose, the results would be disaster. Some orgnization had developed into cult: the 1978 Jonestown mass suidice and killlings by followers of American cult leader Jim Jones that claimed 913 lives. Admittely, they have many benefits. We still do not neglect their disadvantages.

They are not always in this position, such as astrology, at first, people got almost the whole information about future from it, however, with the development of the science and technologies, they became less and less important, and they are from mainstream to nonmainstream, and we can make sure the more poeple know the world the less important it would be. Some theories approved true by science would be acepted by social and become the mainstream ideas and the other approved wrong would be casted away. the Darwinism at first was denied by Zion and most people thought it was fantastic but is common sense in modern society.

In sum, the nonmainstream ideas are important and necessary for human beings which can satisfied and comfortable people, nevertheless, we can not neglect that their origin and their role in the social, they are not the vital role in social never.
