The method to improve the effectivity of education has been argued for a long time. I agree partly of the author's claims that education is effective only when it meets the individual needs and interests, but the author extend this claim to "each student", which I doubt the probability and effectivity of this measurement. From my angle, of course, the needs and interests of students should be fulfilled, but there also should be some public and basic courses for individuals whether he or she like it or not.

Cast back to the history, we can see a change of education from neglecting to pay attention to the real demanding of students. Undoubtedly, it is a huge progress and benefits the whole society. Helen Keller was blind since she was born, so the usual education for normal students does not suit her. Thanks to her private teacher, Annie, Helen could have a change to learn to write, to hear, and to feel the beautiful world by heart. In the future, she became a writer to tell people another kind of world. We can imagine, without the special education designed to her, it was possible that she was just a poor blind who needed to be taken care of for all her life and had no achievement at all. On a wider side, the development of human society creates so many new occupations, which need the persons who have passed a chains of special training, such as doctor and lawyer. The special education supplies huge amounts of opportunities for the students who are interested in these certain realms, and subsequently contribute to the development of human.

Just as an old saying goes, "each coin has two sides". Is it really necessary to meet each student's need and interests? In my eyes, it would be a waste of the resource of the society and out of effectivity at all. There are no two persons without any differences. Everyone has his or her own unique needs and interests, but the teachers and rooms for education are limited. There won't be ample resource to meet the demanding of everyone. Furthermore, even assuming that there are enough resources, we will see there would be only one teacher and one student in a huge classroom and also the payment for education would be unbelievable high, which means only the rich could afford a qualified education. As mentioned above, if education meets each person's need and interest, it will not be effective at all.

School is not merely a service department-it has it's an important duty for society that teach the student some basic knowledge to help them survive in this competitive society. These courses, such as math, language and history, are so basic and have become common sense and all the members of the society should understand. It will be high effective and responsible that the school supply these classes in a huge classroom with many students and only one teacher without pay attention to their requirement and interests.

All in all, we should provide special class for students to meet their needs and demanding, but it should be controlled in a certain level, because the differences always exist. For the basic courses, there are no needs to meet individual's need and interest because it has been a duty for school to teach students this common sense.

论证的第二点我认为还是有点过了，因为选修课就是人很少，而且现在都是小班授课，还有家教，都是一对一的。但是如果说经济条件不允许还是说的通的。
另外就是中心句，有点长，最好短一点，清晰一点。
