argument2
The writer suggests that Deerhaven Acres should adopt their set of restrictions on landscaping and housepainting concerning nearby Brookville have done so and tripled their average property values. At first glance, it seems logical, but a couple of flaws are hidden in it. First in the place, the writer fabricates a causal link between the restrictions on the community's landscaping and housepainting and the rise of the average property values. Many factors can cause a rise on the average property values, for example, there may have built a key road that the average property values grows with the convenience of the transportation, or a big central park is built which bring a great number of visitors to spend their weekend in Brooville. In all the arguer needs more information to support that the triple of the average property is attribute to the striction on landscaping and housepainting. Even assuming that the Brookville's striction do lead to the triple in the average property values, the arguer still is ambiguous to some extreme in the condition of Deerhaven Acres as well as Brookville. Maybe B is a small town whose house sculptures and styles are almost the same, yet D is a big city which contains various forms of buildings and sculptures. If so, unfortunately, the restriction on "how the community's yards should be landscaped and what colors the exteriors of homes should be painted" in B can't apply to D because of the different condition of the two place. Even some similar set of restrictions on landscaping and housepainting could be used in D; the arguer has not give enough information for the assurance of the profit brought by the restriction. The average property values depend on how popular the community is among the demanding market. It is possible that the similar housepainting and landscaping is very popular by the market in B whose position of the market is big companies that want to provide their staff a good housing area together so as to better manage them and need a uniformed community. However, B is positioned to attract youngest who is favor of personality and uniqueness. A somewhat uniformed housepainting and landscaping restriction may distract instead attract the demanding market. In this case, the restriction will not bring a rise of the average property values, furthermore, may even lead to a drop of the values. To sum up, the arguer's supports of the suggestion are unacceptable as noted above. To better assess the recommendation, the arguer has to clarify more details concerning the real cause of grows of the average property values in B, the adaptation of the restriction in DA and the effect of the restriction used in DA.
