       I agree with the speaker that it is always an individual who is the impetus for innovation. Social progress is closely related with the contribution of great men. Nevertheless, the speaker exaggerates the individual rope played in true innovations.
       In some cases, it is individual inspiration and perception that result in breakthrough and invention. It is common knowledge that Newton’s law of gravitation roots in the dropping apple which arouse Newton’s research fervor. Mendeleyev，the inventor of Chemical Element's Periodic Table, got the inspiration from his dream in the night. Indeed，some of the great inventions, which accelerate the development of society and culture, are the results of individual perception and effect.
    With respect to business innovation, it is the vision and commitment of key individuals, such as the firm’s founder, the chief manager or designer, from which business develop and produce innovative products, services, and marketing and management strategies. Without the innovation of Walt Disney, we can not enjoy the great fun come from the cartoon Mickey Mouse, which sweeps all over the world, say nothing of having fun in Disney Park.
    In many realms, we can see the importance of individuals who are wise and farsighted. However, the statement that the details may be worked out by a team, but true innovation results from the enterprise and unique perception of an individual is exaggerated.
    In today’s world, the major trend in development of society emphasizes the importance of team work. Cooperation can not only provide an opportunity for different people to share their knowledge and experiences, but also ensure the achievement of innovation as great innovations always being broken up into small tasks. It is like a computer, only when all the parts of the computer work normally, can the computer work for people efficiently.
    It is the same in the field of science, Physicists conclude a law usually basing on the calculation from mathematicians. While in business realm and government department, without collaboration with subordinates, it is hard for any leader to put his or her new ideas into practice, not to mention significant innovations.
    In sum, the impetus for innovation always come from the enterprise and unique individuals, while only synthesizing the intellection of individuals can true innovations, which benefit both society and individual, be made.
