ISSUE108 “In many countries it is now possible to turn on the television and view government at work. Watching these proceedings can help people understand the issues that affect their lives. The more kinds of government proceedings- trails, debates, meetings, etc. ? that are televised, the more society will benefit.”TS:非常赞同这一做法,然而对于一些情况这种方式不现实。1) 这种做法会拉近政府与民众的距离，并且能使民众更加清楚政府表达的意图，政府很容易借此方式宣传自己。2) 政府由于电视的播送，会更加有责任感，会更加有利于民众。3) 但是绝非所有情况都应该直播，关于国家机密以及对于民众会造成恐慌的事件不应当播出，而应当处理得当之后再告诉民众。CS:尽管有些特殊情况政府应当避开群众的视线，但是大多数情况下，政府的这一做法会增加政府的公信力，会对政府更加有利。I strongly agree with the issue that the government should be frequently shown on the TV in order to get close with the people who are concerning about what are the government doing and what are they going to do. (这句话我不确定，不知道是应该What they are going to do 还是 are放前面。)Nevertheless, in some extreme condition, the government should not broadcast （report更全面一些）everything; otherwise it would make （the去掉） things getting （getting 去掉似乎更通顺些）worse.The first benefit of televising the proceedings of the government is getting closer with the people（感觉有些汉语化，若我则用to built a closer relationship with common people.）. At before（in the past）, people comprehended（用learnt ,了解，更准确些）the goal of the government by reading newspaper and listening （to） the radio. By these ways, people can also know about the political figures’ view, the methods of （the去掉） resolving urgencies and the future of the development of the nation. However, because of the development of television technology, we could not find other more direct way than watching the government proceedings on the television. We can easily know the real thoughts of the government not only by their speaking but also by the body language and the deeds of them. （不错）The access of the televising proceedings of the government also makes our government more responsible. The television is so popular that more people will concern about the government. So （when facing）every conclusion the government makes and every plan they want to start, （这句话好像不完整）they will be more prudential and pay more attention to care about the response of the people. Because (后面有otherwise， BECAUSE应该去掉。)every goal they promise must be achieved, otherwise the (they) will be blamed. We can easily see many political figures drop the reins of government just because they could not fulfill what they promised to the people. In sum, the televising proceedings of the government may be the best way to supervise the government and to make their works getting better.Although the benefits of the televising proceedings of the government should（can） be easily found, not all conditions government should allow televising（to televise/report）their working proceedings. Considering the nation profits, the government should never show the secrets of the country including the economical, military and technological (aspects). Another extreme condition is when the nation is facing the risk like the failure of the nuclear power plant, the government should judge the aftermath (of the failure可略去). If the condition is not serious and will be recovered soon, the government should not broadcast this news on the television immediately because this would make（ the去掉，panic换成panics，或者是a unnecessary panic）unnecessary panics (of people也是去掉比较合适).Admittedly, the government should keep silence in the field of secret of nation or some extreme conditions, but at the most times they should make more chances to present themselves on the TV. By this way, people will be getting more understanding about the government and the government will be more convincing to the people. （结尾比较规范）
