There is an adage in China that children are the beam of the country in the future. So it is totally
true that how children are socialized today effects the destiny of society. However, we should not only focus on the education on the raising children, which we have done relatively well.

First of all, it is the common sense that the destiny of society is in the hand of the young, especially be controlled by the extent of the socialization of children. Only when children adapt to the society and milt into it, we could count on them to make our society better. If children do not socialized well, they will behave like the son of the wolf, entirely lost themselves in the society, and even turn our society to the inferno. In the shooting case of virginia tech, Cho Seung-Hui was a typical example that how children socialized determines their behavior, which in turn effects the destiny of society. Therefore, socialization plays a crucial role in the determination of society's future.

From ancient to modern time, people devoted a lot on the investigation of raising children. In China, the famous educator, Confucius had taught his students to be honest two thousand years ago. In modern time, Maria Montessori helped children to inspire their creativity and interests. And also John Dewey had
said that the best education of children is to learn from the life and experience. Thus, we should
not blame a collapse society to that we have not learned how to raise children.

Furthermore, the destiny of society could not only be determined by how children are socialized, but also we should contemplate on other aspects that also control the future of society. Just take the culture as an example. Different culture absolutely effects the destiny of society since it effects adults and children in a society and the descendant of a society.  As the super country, the United
State has amassing fantasy on the pursuit of happiness written into the Constitution, which courages its people to create, to become wealthy and to help the country develop in the fastest speed. Besides, Japanese would be the most selflessness people in the world to scarify themselves to the development of their country, and it is not unreasonable that
Japan becomes another super country in the world just in 50 years. Therefore, culture could be another key for the society to open the door of bright future.

To sum up, it is nothing wrong to conclude that how children are socialized determines the destiny of society, but we should not only pour our energy on the raising children, but also on the other aspects such as the culture of society, which is equally important in determination of the destiny of society.
