刚开始写issue  没按组长的顺序。麻烦了!
大家拍啊 。。。。不是小组的必回拍。。
I find the speaker's statement to be specious on both aspects. The claim that how children are socialized today determines the destiny of society is an overstatement, at best. And the claim that we have not yet learned how to raise children to better society is poorly supported by empirical evidence.

Consider first the children's socialization determines the destiny of society. I concede that unless a child is socialized well, that child will grow up into a useless, even an anti-social adult. The healthy socialization can be found in the class, in the playground or so on. In the class, children learn to communicate, cooperate, and negotiate through a learning community, which is established by teacher and students together; or through learning in groups to study a certain issue. In the playground, such as in a basketball match, children learn the benefits of cooperation, obligation, and endurance, and also the harm of rudeness, bullying or even anti-social behaviors.

However, socialization is one factor that affects the extent to which an individual contribute to a better society. History justifies this claim. Consider Sigmund Freud, whose significant contribution to psychology or even to the whole society, his contribution stems from his willingness to study the unhappy or even miserable experiences in his childhood rather than socialization. And consider Albert Einstein, although he suffered from prejudice of peers during his childhood because of his originality, his contribution to the society due to his intelligence, the eagerness to knowledge, and the nerve to question the authority.

Consider next the speaker's claim that we have not yet learned how to raise children to better society. If we define a "better" society as one characterized by more the development of technology, more communication across cultural and national boundaries, and more respect for individual rights, the children in the recent fifty years are creating a better society. In the recent twenty-five years, the society has seen a more convenient life. The improving of technology gives us many benefits, for example, we can save our time to have more fun, have more healthy food and communicate in everywhere at every time. Moreover, nations are cooperating frequently to achieve missions concerning antiterrorism and genetic engineering. After 9/11, more and more countries work together to prevent that sort of tragedy from happening again, and the result is satisfying. Ample breakthroughs in the field of genetic engineering are the result of the national cooperation. The society has also seen an increasing respect for individual rights, especially females and racial people. People are more tolerant of other's different opinions and beliefs. In her six short years New York Democratic Senator Hillary Clinton has earned respect from both parties. And Barack Obama now is the Presidential candidate.

In sum, the speaker overstates the importance of socialization. It is intelligence, the eagerness to knowledge, the nerve to question the authority and seminal childhood event rather than socialization determines the destiny of society. And maybe reasonable people disagree with the definition of a better society, while in reality we have seen a more respect, tolerant society. In a word, I disagree with the speaker's statement.

And the claim that we have not yet learned how to raise children to better society is poorly supported by empirical evidence.(刚开始写的时候最好直接表达出自己的观点,可以加in my view)

(这句话太没力度,可以加个通过什么方式让别人了解的更加清楚)
