Traditional education system lay more emphasis on the role of the teachers. It can be believed that the function of the teachers is to convey knowledge, supervise the students work and resolve the questions. Most parents believe the teacher should assign homework for the students every day, however, they ignored the role of the student as well as their function in the education process.
Is it necessary for the students to do homework every day? The answer is apparently negative. The basic purpose of the homework is to reinforce the students understanding of knowledge. If they can master what the teachers have taught, the homework seems redundant. Moreover, the data indicates no link between the more of the homework, the more efficient of the learning knowledge.
What kind of home work is necessary for the student? Generally speaking, most of us believe the homework only confined in the paper-based work such as reading, writing and reciting. In order to maintain the efficiency of learning, the forms of homework can be diversified. With the aid of advanced technology, like the web , visual effect, home work can be more interesting to  the students. Learning cannot be boring as we expected.
From the students’ aspect, home work assigned every day cannot catch their attention on learning process.  The role of the students is to be an active receiver rather than a passive learner. Homework is one assistance to the learning process. However, the assignment of the homework seems to force the students to grasp knowledge.
A passive learner is no better than an active receive. Furthermore, education is a pleasure not merely relying on force of homework.
In brief, we believe the importance of the homework for the students. However, the function of education cannot only trust the homework. To understand what the students need, reform the teaching methodology, enhance the communication between students and teachers, can be much better than the assignment of homework.

总体感觉:
1.the用的过于泛滥,建议LZ好好看一下OG上的writer's handbook,那上面有很详细的介绍,包括写作时长犯的语法错误,应该会比较有帮助
2. LZ的想法还是比较深刻的,但没有组织好,感觉整篇文章不只有一个thesis,还是建议好好分析一下OG上的范文,看看什么是thesis以及如何展开论证
3.语法.看一些语法书,比如薄冰,分析一个完整的正确的句子应该是什么样的,应付ibt足够了
写作绝对是个综合性的技能,多背一些文章,多分析一下好文章,看自己差在哪里,多谢多练肯定会有收获的,希望LZ成功!
