Apparently, there are varieties of views towards such intricate topic. Some people consider that working alone is better than working other people. Nevertheless, as far as I am concerned, working in a group is more preferable.

Admittedly, working alone can shape one's ability of solving problems by oneself. When it comes to a job of working alone, we can imagine that one shall always reline on him/herself. This is a very good way to cultivate personal ability. Let's take developing new software for example. One must do all the jobs as planning, revising and putting it into practice. Although it is quite tough, it is worth the time and effort spending on it.

However, regarding the effectiveness of working in a group, we can fairly say that having a job to work with other people is better. In a group, there are people of different levels. Whenever in trouble, say an obstacle in programming, you can just turn others with high ability for help. This would save you a lot of time blocked in that situation. Also, in a group, different people have different jobs, which further increases the efficiency. Still, take the job of developing new software for instance. Jobs of planning, revising and putting it into practice are all separated. One shall just stick to his/her own job. In short, working in a group is much more efficient.

In addition, what is also worth a great deal of concern is that we can learn more with high efficiency and make a lot of friends as well. Working with other people, one can get a lot of people to turn for help. And this way to increase your knowledge is, of course, very effective. Aside from this, you can make a lot of friends and a good friend will benefit all through your life. In short, a group can enable you study in a high rate and help you make a lot of friends as well.  

So, to put all into a nutshell, we can see clearly that while having a job to work alone gets its propensity when considering the ability of solving problems by oneself, having a job to work with other people is much more preferable.
