177"The study of an academic discipline alters the way we perceive the world. After studying the discipline, we see the same world as before, but with different eyes."

As the status of knowledge and education improved, more and more people tend to realize the necessity of studying of an academic discipline. The speaker holds that the study of an academic discipline server to change our way to perceive the world and give us another different viewpoint to see the world. I agree with the statement for several reasons.
In the first place, the study of an academic discipline provides us more opportunities to touch different aspects of the life and change the way we perceive the world. The procedure of studying broadens our horizon and enriches our minds. For instance, when we were very young, we read stories without thinking too much about the purpose of an author writing stories or any implications of context. However, after studying relevant theories of literature and acquiring basic background information of stories written, we know the deep meanings of symbols and understand the implication hidden in the plot instead of only being attracted by interesting stories.  Additionally, the studying of an academic discipline makes us see to the problem in the long run instead of just considering immediate profits or impact, and give us a comprehensive way to perceive the world. For a person who doesn’t study seems to oversimplify the reasons and focus his/her eyes on the limit horizon.. After studying, people are likely to balance every aspect and avoid making hasty mistake. For instance, after studying diversities of animals on the earth, we realize the importance of protecting endangered species and put a sum of money into the project of protection other than invade the living space of animals at random.
In the second place, studying endues us with different eyes to see the world. After mastering foreign languages, we can communicate with people from different parts of the world and exchange ideals about culture, economics and politics. In the procedure we can learn from others and get benefits Furthermore, studying of an academic discipline makes us surpass the border of knowledge rather than focuses on the surface of phenomena. For instance, due to the studying of mechanics of nuclear fission, we build up nuclear station in use of power of nuclear energy, which makes us know the fact that nuclear fission is not a simple chemistry reaction. Certainly,  we need take advantage of others' good points or achievements to develop ourselves. As we know, there is no clear a line of distinction between each subject. Through deep studying, we widen our border of knowledge and convert unknown reasons and facts into known or verified, and such studying endues our imagination with an effective tool, which makes our dream come truth.

To sum up, I strongly agree with the speaker's viewpoint that the studying of an academic discipline not only changes the way of we perceive the world but also provide us with different eyes to see the world. Thus, we should pay more attention on studying.
