   As the quickening process of industrialization, we increasingly find people concern about their way of speaking. A large number of ambitious young man find all kinds of measures to improve their speaking skill, claiming that the communicational ability is an important factor to determine your future than the writing skill. They would love to buy various books teaching how to speak rather than exercise their ability to write a good article. I am just one member of the group.
   The reason why I pay so much attention on my speaking is that I notice many successful businessmen have an common characteristic: they’re good at attaining others’ appreciation and fondness by means of flattering others or using sound words to praise people and so on. Simply put, their speaking skills assist them to make promotions, pay rising or other success in their career. I also want to be such a glib guy, taking advantages of my flexible tongue to earn a better life. After all, speaking skill is also widely regarded as a kind of art in China, improving your social relationship. Although you’re ingenious writer, you can’t publish your work if you’re not clever enough to get well on with the officials in the government. Once you’re good at this, you must know the proper tone to talk with them and the exact words to flatter them. Only by this, you can just be deemed as a good writer whose work is based on the positive attitudes towards government and beneficial to the social stability.  In a word, you will find so hard to develop yourself or even survive if you don’t know how to talk to others in the country.
    Also, learning how to speak well and properly can develop your wisdom and intelligence. There is a maxim in China that clever men think thrice before they speak. I find it is absolutely right. The difference between a foolish illiterate and wise man is that the former say what they think regardless the time and place and the latter think what they should speak depending on the circumstance they’re in. We can say learning how to speak well also improves the way of thinking, which make you wiser.
     In a word, with the enlargement of the social relationship, people must pay more attention to the way of speaking. It can help you develop your career, becoming sophisticated and cleverer than before.

作者的论证段写得不错，不过，个人感觉作者基本没有写到writing skills 这个感觉是个缺陷。
个人意见，不当之处请见谅，呵呵。
