The author claims that we should only study which have a close relation with our daily lives. In my point of view, we should take the system of history as a whole not trying to identify what is relevant to our daily lives and which is not. In fact, to tell the difference from the relevant and the irrelevant is totally is impossible, for everything we learnt from history has their values to our modern life.

To begin with, history helps us to find identity and gain the knowledge from the past. All the history can give us a vivid picture, if not vivid at least give us a sketch about what's going on in the past. Along with the process of knowing more about past we know ourselves better. Where did we come from and how our ancestors made a point of settling down on this new land? The answer we find in history gives us a sense of achievement, which is our identity. Besides this, we can know what ancient time is like and how about the people living at that time. As we are earnest about all these things, the historians also works hard to prove their findings, we acquire the knowledge on which all the other declines stand. For example, the first ENIAC is huge monster which takes up two rooms while its speed of function is rather slow comparing what is today. However, our pioneers won't give up the attempt to try new things and on the basis of ENIAC, new series called PC and flattops soon appeared. Newton has a famous saying that why I can see farer because I am standing on the giant’s shoulders. I think Newton is such a modest person that he attributes a large proportion of his contribution to the previous scientist, whose theory was also built on the study of historical research. To some extent, the study of the history promotes the development of science and the progress of all human beings.

In addition, "History is just like a mirror", if we truly grasp the gist of it then we can avoid many catastrophes which we hates to see, such as wars, pollution and even the back-progress made by our humans. With the development of technology and globalization, our living standard are greatly improved, while our surrounding also has it's disasters with the tress cut down, the air polluted and even the water  contaminated not fit for drinking. We view the acid rain poured down in London caused many people lost their lives and also the distinguishing of some priceless plants. Had we known more about the past the damage of industrialization without the protection of the environment, things would different. Lucy that people had such a lesson from London that more and more people begin to realize the significant meaning of such a tragedy. When revert to our students, we also learnt about the history, which might even be a bad habit, taken an exam as example. Many students deem it convenient to pass courses in universities or colleges, believing that the preparation before the test is enough. Only when a student fails in a Calculus course did he realize the importance of the careful listening on class as well as reviewing lesson as much as possible. However, the student also gained something from this unhappy experience.

Last but not least, the study of history can help to build up our morals .Through the study of Columbus we knows what's skeptical and through the study of Bruno we knows that what's true meaning of life and through the study of our people, we knows that it's the union of our all peoples freed us from the government of the Japanese. Looking back, we found happiness accompanying sorrowing, yet we should see that although we are not the best, we are trying to do our best by following our pioneers' steps.

In sum, history is very useful to human beings. It can get us better fulfilled for the coming era at that same time makes us wise and build up our morals.

是不是我们对于题目的理解有差别呢，我理解的是“只有研究和我们日常生活相关的历史才有价值”，所以就从历史对于日常相关生活的影响和对于其它社会方面的影响来谈的，你好像是谈了历史的作用，从三个方面来写。

同意楼上的观点。Tina已经有两片文章跟大众的思路不一样了，是不是你用的提纲的问题呢。
还有这篇的3段跟前面是什么逻辑关系呢 不太清楚。
