I agree with the speaker's broad assertion that how children are socialized today account for the destiny of society to some extend, and the crucial method for children raising for a better society remains to be figured out. However, we need to analyze the assertion from a more dialective perspective, investigating the nature of truth by critical ananlysis of concepts and hypotheses. There's a good chance that the author simplifies the issue by the ambiguous conclusion. The final judgement, in my point of view, need further consideration and reflection.
First and foremost, the bright future of a nation rests with the excellent raising and education of its children.  "We cannot alawys build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.", as American president Franklin Roosevelt once said. With a oustanding and responsible young generation, a plain society, even a lagging one, can be retrivaled and be prosperous. On the contrary, even a splendid society may be botched for the poor-raising of its chilren. To make the point clearer and practical, here's some substancial examples. Greater emphasis has been put into the education for better offspring worldwide, such as growing budget and paying-out for cultivating refering to almost all aspects. More and more funding and student's loading being developed; Better schooling environment being provided; Plenteous opporunities for further study, even life-long learning being offered. Consodering the development of our society, they, indeed and in reverse, serves for better bringing-out of our young people.
Albeit children figuring the future of a certain nation, it does not mean that it is the only factor regarding the destiny of society. Children's learning culture and knowing how to live within it is far from being enough for everything's good. Socialization is only one factor influencing the extent to which an individual will ultimately contribute to a better society and it is even not the most important one. Values such as honesty, persistence, probity, kindness and so forth all together serve as  core lessons inculcated by parents and school systems. In this fast-developing world, when interests and materials dominate our world, such values turn out to be of crucial consequence. For example, high-techniques bring out severe problems relating ethics and moral standards: With the coming of cloning in the field of biology, we need to think more about illegal impacting on human morality about human cloning; we can find the same condition in terms of nuclear energy, whether to use it as energy benefiting all of us or as weapon against well-being of all human remains for us as a choice. Technology, in itself, remains neutral, what's definitive is our altitude, mood, morality, values and world view. Additionally, we should  equip our children with knowledge and information, so that they can contribute much better and more.
Considering the author's next claim that we have not yet learned how to raise children who know how to create a better society. If we define a "better" society as one characterized by greater tolerance of view points and people who are different from ourselves, greater respect for individual rights, and greater cooperation across culture and national boundaries, then the young people of the most recent half century are creating a better society. We have seen increasing sensitivity in our society toward ensuring the public health by policing the food and drug industries and by protecting our natural environment. We can view these young people s being more sensitive to and respectful of the rights of women, various ethnic and social groups, hommosexuals, and so forth.
Of course, from the analytical perspective, demerits remains to be settled. Owing to quicker pace of society, higher pressure of dail life, many shortcomings emergy. Although education resources, ample informations and living level turn out a supreme advantage, the seperation from others and information overload cannot be ignored. Life with more studying load and more skill training such as dancing, piano, painting, cmpetitions should be responsible for children's lacking of companionship, communicating skills and leading skills, and most of all, there's a good chance of being "high technique and little, even no, ethies". Nowadays, children, even teenagers present more tendency toward mental problems: stress, violating, even suicide or crime. Since there's no standard for the cultivating of children, we need to try our best to seek a balance between the subject inculcating and moral instruction, especially the latter one. Only in this way, can we better prepare our children for the  society, for the sake of their own well-being, and ,more importantly, the well being of all human beings.
From the analysis made above, I strongly commit to the notion that we need all call more profound relationship between the instruction of children and the well being of society. Without socialization, the children may find it hardly to live within the environment, not to mention benefiting it. Without moral culcating, there's no way that our techniques are worhy of developing, since we cannot guarantee whether it will do us good or vice versa.

总体上来说，我觉得语言已经很好了，至少比我的baby talk和逻辑混乱强无数倍。这个文章的思路看来是
教育孩子很重要但还有很多因素比社会化更重要，比如道德
现在方法还算不错但要加强道德。
恩，挺通顺的，但是建议将社会化的概念阐明，因为看不出社会化与道德的不相容。(其实我就是不明白什么是社会化，根本写不出来)
能看出来语言是有基础了，看着就顺。词语搭配也很多，我又惭愧。
