总体感觉不错,比较全面!
Before the author comes to the conclusion that people who snore need less food but more exercise than the average person, he or she fails to provide any sufficient evidence. All those assumptions on which this argument relies may seem reasonable at the first glance, however, after a thorough and carefully analysis, (主句缺少主谓语)turning out rather ungrounded.
In the first place, the authority of the study, which asserts a cause-and-effect relationship between snoring and gaining weight is rather dubious. As this study offers no information about its samplers at all. We have no idea about their ages, jobs and other conditions which are firmly connected with topic of getting weight. It is entirely possible that people who accept(take part in好些,accept会让人觉得是这些人是接受研究结果而不是被调查者) this study are middle aged, the most likely to gain weight due to their special (加个healthy)characters rather than snoring. Or perhaps they are just people who do office work, and spending most of their time sitting before the computers. As a consequence, it is more easily(是easy) for such people to gain weight than those laborers. In addition, perhaps only a small amount of people accept(一样问题,见上) this study, as a result, no one can insure whether it is representative or not. In short, before the author ruling out other alternatives which causing(是cause) the weight, proving us its authority and representative, he or she cannot take it as a evidence.
In the second place, the argument asserts that people who snore at night will feel tried during the day for just a briefly waking, while giving no persuasive evidence at all. First, without credible information supported by science, we cannot assume the interruption of breathing will lead to tiredness just according to our own common sense. We should know the exact relationship between them, instead of some hasty assumptions. Second, even if the waking at night will result in tiredness, we can (少了not吧? 你的意思即使疲惫,也不一定由打鼾引起的)contribute this fault to snoring. The situation about other people who do not snore at night should be given to us also. It is probably that these common people have short stops of breathing during night for a few second. Thus, whether snoring or not is not the factor which leading(应是leads) to tiredness, while other crucial causes may exist.
Moreover, no information about diet and exercise situations of people who snore is provided to us. The author mentions that these need less food and more exercise, while failing to consider the current conditions. Maybe they have already done everything well enough and thus we should not require them to do more and more. Then, situations should differ according to different people. It is too absolute for the author to conclude that all people who snore should take his or her suggestion which is completely unsounded.
In a sum, the argument is neither logically sound or persuasive because of lacking direct and sufficient evidence. The author should provide more professional and authoritarian studies to reveal the exact relationship between snoring and tiredness. Additionally, the author should give evidence before concluding the links between snoring and gaining weight.
