This issue presents a point of view that all nations should be get involved to support the development of a global university designed to equip its students to take part in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems. In my opinion, this suggestion is impossible not to recognize, and I agree with it based on my following consideration. On the other hand, I also realize the difficulty for the suggestion to be carried out.

First of all, a global university will offer a great place and make it much easier for scholars, specialists and students all of the world to get together and communicate with each other. Experts will work in the same building, they would contact with each other in the most effective way, that is, face-to-face while do not have to wait an answer email. With this help, both their researches and educational skills will be significantly improved. What's more, students will be taught by these international teachers which would help form an international view of the world. Besides, those students can also learn a lot from their schoolmates about the world's issues instead of books and articles; it is also entirely possible that discussion between them would some day be realized. Under this consideration, we an easily find the value of a global university.

Secondly, in order to reveal the value of a global university all nations should contribute their correspondent part, especially those advanced nations. With high technology, this world seems to be smaller and smaller. It is more and more obvious that a change happened in one district would affect other districts even the whole globe, such as greenhouse effect, harms on ozone layer and so on. To solve these problems, all nations should share their own responsibility; and constructing a global university as an effective way has the right to require support from all nations. Under this consideration, we can ensure that all nations have their part to support the development of a global university.

Admittedly, we are facing lots of difficulty when building a global university, for how to determine one country's responsibility and it is hard to figure out when involving profit issues. Obviously, there would be a long way to go. However, some famous university, such as Harvard, MIT, Cambridge and so forth are becoming more and more international; they played in some degree like a global university while some unbalance still reveal they are not. It is hopeful that when these unbalance is ruled out step by step, the distance between these universities and a global university becomes closer and closer.

In sum, we hope that a global university will be founded under the help of all nations in the near future. With the contribution of its students, the world's most persistent social problem can finally be worked out well.
