The lecturer argued the ideas, he think that the American wood companies would accept the certification for their products. And he give three reasons.
Firstly, just as the writer said that the American would not trust such a label of the of ecocertification. Just because there are so many advertisement around the world, and most of them is not true. Indeed, the American consumers can distinct the independent certification agency from the ads. And they have the confidence of
the agency. Secondly, the ecocertified wood would be more expensive than the usual one. the American consumers are likely to choose the cheaper uncertified products. But the lecturer said that the price difference is so small that the consumers could not notice that. In this level, the a little high of the price is not a issue for the certification of the wood products. Thirdly, the domestic companies only marketing in their own country,
the ecocertified wood is accepted in the rest of the world, but not in the American. Admittedly, this is true. Although the American companies need to pay attention to the international trend. If they did not catch the trend, sooner or later the domestic market will be lost.
Above all the argument, the lecturer believe that the ecocertificatio could be rapidly widespread all over the country. And the doubts issued by the writer would not be a problem.
