Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Some people think that daily homework is necessary for students; some think daily homework is not reasonable for students already study all day at school. In my opinion, some daily homework is really necessary for students.

Daily homework helps students to understand what they studied the day. Students need more time to understand and do better in some subjects, and homework allows students to expose in these subjects. For instance, by doing homework about English Grammar, Chinese students can understand the principle about grammar their teacher said, and then can speak and write in English correctly. So homework about English Grammar is very necessary for students to learn it.

Also, daily homework helps students to build a good habit of study. Some students do not have a good habit of study, they do not read book after school, some even addict into e-game after school every day. Compulsive daily homework leads students to study every day after school, which helps students to build a good habit of study.

But that does not mean that more homework is better. More homework might result in that students are tired of the heavy homework, then students might not like to study, even dislike to go to school. A survey shows that many elementary school students in China want drop from school due to too much homework.

In sum, I believe some daily homework is necessary for students. Teachers should assign homework according their classes, too much homework may result in side-effects to students.
