Many people get high scores in first impression or face-to-face communication because they can speak well. So there is no denying that speaking well is of great value. However, in today's world, we depend more on Medias than before to communicate with others. So, in my opinion, to write well is far more important than to speak well .

On one hand,it is easy to see that we exchange more information through media because of convenience. Like computer, which is the most useful tool, we use it to keep in touch with our friends, teachers, and for some working people, their boss or colleagues, through e-mails.When we write an e-mail, the writing skill is helpful in describing feelings. So, a person who writes well is seems friendlier and more humors to others, and can keep a good relationship. With this example, we can conclude that write well is more important in our daily life.

On the other hand,a well writing skill is helpful in finding a job.We see reporters "talk" to us everyday in televition. But actually, he or she is not used the speaking skills, but instead of that, it is the writing skills works. Just go over the news we watch today, what the reporter "talks” are full of the sentences we use in writing,with a serious format,no joking and no dialect.More obvious examples are in newspapers and the website; the news showed to us are articles which is well-write. Nevertheless, to write well is more important when you have a dream to be a reporter or editor, and jobs like this.

Thirdly, today’s world is a world of strangers, that is to say, one person communicate more with strangers than whom he or she familiar with. So,information is well exchanged through writing. Because the speaking language is varies in different areas, but communication through writing is easy,like using the global language--English,which is understand by a large amount of people. So, from this side, we can also draw a conclusion that writing well is more important than speaking well.

To sum up, as the reasons showed above, in the modern world, writing well is more vital when verse speaking well. And I do disagree with the title.
