Many lesser-known languages are disappeared with high speech for economic globalization and other reasons. Not only is language play an important part in remaining the diversity of culture but also to the diversity of thinking way. So protecting lesser-known language is significant to human civilization. Apart from the government, some nongovernmental institutes also should act positively.

Economic globalization is the capital reason  contributing to lesser-known languages extinct. According to a survey, there are 2500 lesser-known languages on the edge of extinction, which outnumbers one third of the total world languages. In some degree, people using the same language would have a better communication, which would make people know each other better and reduce misunderstanding. Such as English, severing as the international language plays an important role in promoting people’s communication. However, the popular of main languages also lead to many lesser-known languages being lost. People become using the main languages more than their own languages in some places. Such as the Manchu language in China, spoken by the Manchu people that one of Chinese ethnic groups, become less and less people spoken. In addition, the rapid speech development of languages, the war, and other reasons may contribute to the lost of lesser-known language.

Protecting lesser-known languages is of capital importance in remaining the diversity of culture, which is the premise of civilization development. Russell said that communication of diverse culture had been proved many times to be the milestones of human civilization. Language, functioning as the carrier of culture, stores rich and deep culture. Lost language is the lost culture and civilization. The complex religion rites fade, the history passing by spoken language is gone, and the knowledge about the plants, the animals and the environment passing from generation to generation are hardly known by the young. The indigence languages, spoken by the aboriginal people, are taken place by English and Spanish. And the civilization which based on indigenous languages is fading.

Protecting the lesser-known languages has a positive impaction to the diversity of thinking way. A language indicates a way people thinking. The extinct of a language gives rise to the extinct of the distinct system of people recognizing the objective realm. The tendency of language highly homogenized may result in the degenerate of people’s thinking way as well as the rich ability of innovation. Take the Chinese for example, Chinese hieroglyph, which can indicate one or more integrated context, generates the macroscopic thinking way. Contrast to Chinese, the Latin is sound-notating, which come into the microscopic thinking way. Supposed that Chinese is extinct from this world, the macroscopic thinking way would also be disappeared. That’s a large pity for human being. As the same condition are to the lesser-known languages.

Protecting lesser-known languages only depends on government is not enough. The nongovernmental institutions should help establish study groups and offer financial aid. Many governments realize the danger of many languages, and take acts to protect the lesser-known languages by law and education. For example, the Chinese government organizes scientists to record and store the material of lesser-known languages. But the power of government is limited. Language should be used by the local people but not only be stored and researched. Some Medias make films and TV programs using the lesser-known languages to promote the use of local languages. And the result proved to be positive.

Just as people lose a Louvre, so do people lose a language, an American linguist said. Protecting the lesser-known languages is so emergent and significant that more and more people should join in the project of protecting our precious cultural wealth.

Many lesser-known languages are disappeared (disappear不能用被动语态哦) with high speech for ( high speed of?? ) economic globalization and other reasons. Not only is language play(人称与单复数不对应) an important part in remaining (retaining or maintaining)the diversity of culture but also to (in should be better) the diversity of thinking way.(way is ok, but style is better) So protecting lesser-known language is (languages are ) significant to human civilization. Apart from the government, some nongovernmental institutes also should act positively. (首段应是总结作用,本身也要联贯,改成这样是否更好:先说语言重要,然后说小语种正在消失,再说政府应该保护,最后说非政府组织也要积极的起作用)

该篇文章完全脱离了所谓的摸板,很好,值得学习..
文章主题是否是政府应该起到保护语言的作用..从正文里面没强调政府所起的作用,只是倒数第二段提出还需要非政府组织的作用,,另外末段的概括能力 也需要细加斟酌,
还有写完后检查一下,避免出现过多的语法问题.
愚见,请参考…

谢谢楼上的，辛苦啦，你的意见我会认真考虑的。因为不怎么看ISSUE范文，所以也不想去模仿。自身语言不是很好，所以出现不少语法错误，我会认真改的。另外我举的英语例子，不是说它是小语种，我的意思是因为英语作为国际语言的使用，让很多小语种使用得少了。对于政府应该保护这一块，是有些欠缺，我应该多花点笔墨写。再次感谢！:loveliness:
