would you agree that young people enjoy life more better than older people？

We should admit that every one, no matter young or old, would like to enjoy his/her life. But the question is: Does every one have the same degree of satisfaction during the enjoyment activity? I believe that people in different age will have different feeling to this and I also agree that young people will have more happiness than old people have.


First, compared to the old people, usually young people will be more energetic and vigorous. They are more healthy and have less illness. In some sense, these conditions make up of the prerequisites of enjoyment. Use food as a simple example. Young men with their solid teeth can enjoy the delicious medium done steak without any difficult. While for most old men, even the beef has been deep cooked, they still cannot enjoy it well. So, people will have more fun with a dynamic body.

Secondly, with the increase of age, people will get more matured and more sophisticated. That means they will lost enthusiasm and get passionless. In contrast to old people, young people has a long way to go ahead and thousand of millions of challenges or uncertainty will encounter them. In other words, due to lack of life experience, young people will show interest in a lot of things. For instance, children are always full of curiosity and they tend to ask so many questions which seem like stupid. However, children will be happy and feel successful when they understand the answer.

Admittedly, some may argue that the most thing for young people to do is to study and advance their career. So they will be less enjoyable than old men. But I would say, simply spend less time in enjoy doesn’t mean less exhilaration. In fact, recent scientific research shows that people will have more pleasure in entertainment with pressure. Take myself as an example, I feel more exciting in playing PC game if the final test is in the next week.

To sum up, young people can enjoy life more better than older people partly because they have good health and partly because they have to, involving in new experience and have fun will make them grown up.
