Nowadays, there are all kinds of movies in cinema, people watch different kinds of movies for different purposes. Some like to watch serious movies, like biography films and history films because they think it can help them think. Some may like to watch movies that can amuse and entertain them, such as action movie and comedy. In my opinion, I would prefer to watch movies which enable people to amuse and entertain people.

First, for most people, it is an effective way to relax themselves by watching movies which are able to amuse and entertain them. People have to face hard challenge everyday, they feel very stressed and exhausted due to the high pressure from the overloaded work and study ever day. According to a latest research report, smile can help people relieve stress. There are much jokes and japes in the comedies, which can bring them lots of laughter and make them happy and relaxed in everyday life. So, in this sense, people can keep healthy by watching this kind of movies that could amuse and entertain them.

Secondly, people can not only receive joy and relaxation but also can learn much more by watching entertaining movies. For example, “The Million Pound Note” brings much joy to people who watch it, but people can also find out local customs and practices in Britain during the early part of the 20th century . For people, movie is a kind of entertainment, bringing joy to them and helping them understand truth, goodness and beauty.


Besides, watching entertaining movies also enjoys the apparent advantage of promote the relationship between family members .There is  no denying that a perfectly entertaining movie could be enjoyed by the whole family ,offering them happiness and relaxation. You could imagine how great it is to watch some really amusing movie with your parents on a cold wet winter night. I still remember last week, my whole family glued ourselves in sofa and watching the newly-published  movie “Avatar”, which described an intriguing story about the friendship between a gorilla and a beauty. Not only did us enjoy the attractive plot , but we also cherished the happy and precious time all the family members gather together .Consequently, I just want to say ,entertaining movie is  a magic catalyze for a family to enhance the relationship between each other .

On the whole, taking into account all the factors mentioned above ,  I will lay the stress that  entertain movie will be the better choice for people nowadays providing the relaxation and happiness to us.
