The environmental issue is too complex to be handled by the individual. Do you agree or disagree?

As long as I was concerned, I would support the opinion that the environmental issue is so complicated that no individual is able to handle it. Although there exists heated debate that whether single person possesses ability to deal the deteriorating environment, we had to admit that to some degree, it seems powerless for oneself alone to complete this arduous assignment.
To begin with, let us take a look into the air pollution. It is widely acknowledged that industrial discharge take the main part such as factories’ toxic water and gases. Groups of people strive for the maximum profit in price of ruining earth the human are living on. It is difficult to cope with their deed all by oneself alone for it apparently seem to be corporation behavior. Maybe there is a chance to succeed in the relevant issue, however, most of time the individual is in disadvantaged side especially without sufficient financial or social aid.
Secondly, avert our attention to the plastic bags, another source of pollution which is also called the White Pollution. Before the recycling technology advances, a surprising number of plastic bags consumed everyday is increasing for it is cheap, convenient and resistible to exposure to sun and rain. When it is predicted that tremendous number of deserted plastic bags would bring disasters to ecological balance, still a lot of people stick to do what is thought to be wrong. Although many individuals tried their best to persuade the public, the trend could not be pulled back. The individual effort is unable to control the whole as it appears so weak and limited. It was until the policy of restriction for plastic use taken into practice did the production and consumption of plastic bags decline.
Finally, since a single person who refuse plastic bags and napkin made of paper, etc, what they did really help improve the surrounding we are living. But what is more crucial become to persuade the public to realize the significance of environmental protection. It far away from enough to struggle all by oneself for the issue we are faced with is complicated and exhausting.
