Let’s take myself for example, in my spare time I always enjoy myself by sitting near the window, reading different kinds of books in a warm afternoon. In this moment reading a printed book, touching the paper and smelling the ink can make me feel peaceful. Sometimes I read a really attractive story from e-book, I will buy a published book to collect for myself. Furthermore, in my opinion, a printed book may let a person take more serious attitude towards reading and studying, such as history or philosophy book, which is essential for students.

If someone asked me whether I had the favorable attitude towards spending money onvacation or saving for the future two years ago, I probably chose the firstoption. However, after experiencing some events, I tend to chose to save money for the future.

As an old Chinese saying goes: Build the shelter before the rain.No one knows what will happen tomorrow, the only thing we can do is prepared well. In our whole life, there are many unpredictable disasters such as disease. When they strike, having enough money on hand can mean a great difference between life and death. Tow years ago, my grandfather caught cancer. He had to spend his rest of life in hospital. Only the regular treatment such as cleaning the body, infusion andmeasure the blood pressure needed more than thousands Yuan per day, not mention to those lots different kinds of expensive medicine. During those days, in order to save my dear grandfather’ life, we spent more than two hundred thousand Yuan, which almost all of my family’s saving. However, although we tried our best, he still passed away peacefully in a winter morning. The doctor comforted us and said if without the treatment and medicine my grandfather had not insisted for such a long time. Gone without any pain was the most gratified thing to this disease.

On the other hand, saving for future does not mean spending no money on having fun. There is no deny that, having a vacation with family and friend would help us relax and relieve the pressure from work and study. Taking a part amount of money to travel or have other fun will make us better enjoy our life. Sometimes it even takes no money to have pleasure such as listening music, reading book or watching a fantastic film.

There is almost impossible for you to talk about the beginning of the universe or the black holes. Let’s take myself for example. After a busy five-day school life, I usually relax myself by watching television programs, such as day day up(悲催的还特意查了官网 囧), which is an interesting talk show. This fantastic program does not only make me happy but also help me release the pressure form study and make me prepare well for the next week’s school life. When you face the option that a high salary with less vacation time job or a more leisurely time with a less pay, which one do you prefer? Someone holds the view that the second is better than the first one. Well, in my opinion, its all depend on individual.

Firstly, some people enjoy the life style, which devote themselves in their career. This kind of people desire to take most of time to deal with their job and get fulfillment and self-achievement from it. With the high salary, they can enjoy a better life circumstance, such as affording children to receive more excellent education and enjoying the Maldives’ sunshine with their family in the valuable vacation. Let’s take one of my friends Allen for example. Allen is a surgeon with a high pay but almost 50 work-hours every week. But his devotion to this work is also well-known. Sometimes he actually tires about this overload work, however, when he looks at those restorative patients’ smile, he feels proud of himself and gets rid of the tired.  

Meanwhile, some people choose the leisurely work for themselves although with lower salary. They prefer to spend much time with their family rather than have a plush life. In their opinion family and friends is the most significant part in their life, and time is the greatest investment they can make into the relationship with their family and friendship. Vision used to be an outstanding CEO in an international company. Due to his passion into his work and rarely spending time with his family, his wife divorced with him and left the boy. When Vision came back home and saw the lonely feeling in his boy’s eyes, he realized that whatever advantages of the comfortable and luxury life he created to the kid never outweigh the value of time he spending with his boy. Therefore, Vision quitted the current high salary job and found another one, which is less pay but more time can stay with family than before.

From what I have mentioned above, we may safely draw the conclusion that whether choosing a high pay job with less vacation time or the opposite one is all determined by the individual’s preference.

Some people hold the opinion that technology makes our life more complicated than before. However, as far as I am concern, I could not agree with this view as the following reasons.

In the first place, it is widely accepted that, along with the modern science and technology we can finish our work with less time and more efficient. So that we are able to have much more time to do whatever we want, such as studying another language or something else which can help us have a favorable position in the future job market or catch good opportunities in life. Or we just take this time to relax ourselves to relieve the pressure from study or work that will help us prepare well for the next day. Let’s take one of my friends Allen for example. Allen was used to be a typewriter in a small company. What he had to do everyday was typing different kind of documents in computer. In his opinion, he thought this job was boring and had no future but lots of time. So that he really didn’t like it and desired to change another job. But due to lacking of other relative skills, he almost had no choice but processing with the endless words. In order to change his life and achieve a brighter future, Allen decided to learn Spanish in his spare time. Around one year later, his company needed a translator to do business with an international company. He grabbed this opportunity and helped his company deal with the business successfully. After this, Allen got promoted and then had much more favorable opportunities than before.

What’s more, the technology makes us communicate with each other more convenient than before. In the past, if one from north left home to work in south, it was possible that he would never came back according to the long way and inefficient transportation system. However, in our modern society we can almost go anywhere if we desire. Some days ago, my cousin who studies in America made a phone call to our family to celebrate the Spring Festival and told us she would be back in 6 months.  

There is no denying that, people in growing numbers are beginning to complain that work is more stressful and less leisurely than before. However, some experts point out that, along with the modern science and technology development, it is inevitable result and there is no way to avoid it. Therefore, from what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that advantages of technology far outweigh its disadvantages and it will still play essential roles in modern society.
