Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

According to a recent survey, more and more students have unpleasant associations with their homework. They fail to take account of the fact that "Look back to the old, if you would learn the new". I think
that daily homework is necessary for students.
For one thing, the students should review the lessons they had by doing the homework, for students may forget what they learnt during the classes soon without reviewing the lessons. I was in the same situation before, when I was in grad three in colledge, the teacher hardly give us assignments which results of that I do not assimilate the knowledge I have learnt.  From then on ,my study was declining day by day. So I think daily homework is important for students' study.
The another reason why I think so is that if the teacher donot give assignments to students, it will add them more time to play, especially some boys who spend most time playing computer games which causes that they get a bad grade in their exames.For example one of my roommates liu who is addicted to the computer games, if the teacher didnot give assignments to us, he amostly spend all time playing computer games, let along his study.
