Students’ process of learning is intimidately connected with teachers, since it is teachers who directly lead them to the palace of knowledge. Based on the significance of a teacher’s fuction, some people argue the only way a student learns from a teacher is to like she her or he him first, while on the other hand, others hold an opposite opinion oppositely. As far as I am concerned, it is not a necessarity for students to appreciate with their teachers, even if teachers indeed play an vital role in their ways of learning.
Fistly, in order to reach a highly standard of learning, to like the teacher is definitely of great importance. Surveys have scientifically showed that a human’s emotions can to some degree effect their his activities, thus the fondness of a teacher can arouse the interest of knowledge taught by that teacher. It is undutious? interests is the best teacher, hence in this sense, on in order to learn from a teacher, to build a pleasing realationship is somewhat unevidtly?.
On the other hand, however, if you take this emotion as the only way or motif to learn, the result may be harmful. On one hand, there exist enormous teachers (I have to admit, I laughed out loud when I tried to imagine 'enormous teachers'...) during your way course of studying, it is unrealistics for you to get in touch with many of them, not to mention like them. Let’s take Joan for example, who is one of my best friends. Joan faired? (Do you mean 'fear'?) to enter university when we were eighteen, since her she didn’t like our maths teacher, her final score was definitely not enough for the final line? (What is 'the final line'? If you're talking about the minimum score requirement of a university, that's called a 'cutoff score'.). Even though she likes our Chinese teacher and had a quiet reasonable score on that subject, you? (Weren't we talking about Joan?) cannot enter the university neither, just because of the hateness of the maths teacher. (The question is about whether a student's ability to learn depends on his/her fondness of a teacher. Your point and example, however, went sideways on the 'fondness->emotions->emotions may affect learning->it's not good to let emotions affect your learning' path, drifting from one keyword to the next, and didn't go back to the question at all. If your example said that Joan's maths score wasn't good because she didn't like the teacher, or her Chinese was good because she liked the teacher, doesn't that actaully prove the point that a student would only be able to learn if he/she likes the teacher?)
Moreover, as an old saying goes,”people always live to learn”, people have to learn during their entire liveshood. Instead of the emotion among teachers?, the purpose of study is to acquire knowledge and to fillful yourself to a fully developed human being. Therefore, it is more significant for us to learn skills of learning, and ignore many of the outer influences which are always obstacles on your way of learning. (The question is whether a student MUST like a teacher to learn. In other words, it's asking whether liking of a teacher is absolutely needed for learning. It's NOT about whether this kind of emotional attachment is good or bad. Of course you could argue that it's not necessary because it's not good, but it has to go back to the question. It's very easy to slip into the good/bad mode because you'll have more to say, but remember eventually you need to ADDRESS THE QUESTION. Without fulfilling this, everything you write would amount to nothing.)
In general, even though teachers play an serious role in one’s learning process and fondness of them will to some degree influence one’s learning, I still hold the idea that it is not necessary for students to like a teacher in order to learn from them him, while during our way course of learning, it is unwise to depend on any thing other than ourselves. After all, you are the one who can ultimately enjoy the benefits of learning.
