Students would receive a better, effective education if they were required to attend classes for 11 months of a year.
We all have the right to receive formal educations, (and) we treasure the value of knowledge which make us intelligent wisdom (intelligently wise) and sensible. (独立的两句子间必须用连词连接)Under no circumstances should we quit being educated. Of course, teachers are playing vital roles in our way to be educated. Then a diverge (divergence) rise, someone hold the opinion that students should spend more time in schools so that they can learn better and more effective. Important as it is being taught in schools, prolong(prolonging) school time never means a more effective way of study.
Usually, three months’ time holidays (有点chingish… 3-month holidays就可以了) exsit in one school year. During the time, students are free of school, (and) they can do whatever they want. But some parents are worried their children would become (so)idle and lazy that they would be bored of study (不加so, 这句从句修饰什么?). Indeed what they have worried is unnecessary. One important factor they have ignored, students are capable enough to take advantage of their time. Without routine school life, they are more active to arrange their spare time. For an instance, if a student is good at Month(= =math?) however( 用but合适) he/she is bad at History, he could use his spare time on history study to upgrade his/her history score. And it has being proven that people could learn more effectively when they are a (an)active leaner than being a passive receiver. And knowledge means seeking, (and) we will never know the essence except we looking (look) for the truth by ourselves.
Due to the time and room limitation, what students have learned in classes can't be totally understood because of lacking of (lack作n.时,
搭配是lack of; 作v.时无需加介词) enough practice. Thinking about chemistryand physics, the courses are so abstract. (courses显然不能作出think这个动作吧) Without practice and experiments, students rely on mechanical memory. However, how can the remember stuffs ( 记的东西?remember是v.)be equal to knowledges (knowledge)? That’s the gist of holidays. Try to think about the scene, we can quickly be packed and start out for a trip, to learn natrual (natural)scenery. The plants and animals we have learned in biology class can be encountered during the trip. And the mountains and caves we (have)seen are the best examples in our geology classes. Students are able to change their remember stuffs into knowledges (knowledge) because of using the spare time to experience by themselves, no learning methods can be compared to that way.
Backing to the basic function of holidays, is for relaxation. (前半句是介词短语了,病句。。。)During 4 consecutive months’ term in school, students really need to have a rest, which will help students to increase their learning efficiency in turn. Important as classes are, for it is the resource of knowledge we get. If the knowledge is detached from practice, the knowledge will surely be forgotten some day. So that is the significance of holidays, not only can students take a good rest, but also practice what (that) they have learned in classes, then re-fuel and make preparations for next semester.
