With the development of science technology,especially electronic technology, people have more choices to choose the way ofacquiring information, not only dose the printed paper provide information,e-book also have the ability to store knowledge which shows words on thescreen. In several years, the printed book will be replaced by e-book.

To begin with, it is no denying that peoplehas become a custom to read printed book in the past of thousands years. It'sdifficult for us to change the habit. In view of the forest, which supports usfresh air, it is disappearing on the earth. In addition, the increasing requirementof printed book goes from bad to worse. Clearly, in this case, people have touse e-book instead of the printed book in order to protect the forest andthemselves in the future.

However, there are two other factors whichI think are more important. First and foremost, it's hard to
overstate the significance of health.Students have to go to school with many heavy books, which does harm themhealth, and leads to give up study with disgust. Compared to printed books,e-book is less heavy and more convenient to students. Besides, students have tospend so much money on new books every semester. If students choose e-book tolearn, it will save money so as to reduce parents' burden.

In 21st century, education will be lastlong, even the whole one's life, people need varies of printed books indifferent period, in order to meet with the technology updating and keep pacewith the world’s step. Unfortunately, new printed books will publish, whichneeds cost half of year, even a year, it's more slow than the rate of knowledgeupdating. How to solve the problem and how to keep yourselves competence, thesolution is to use e-book which can download new knowledge from internet andupdate the storage. The e-book provides many aspects of the latest knowledge,such as animals, nature, science, history, culture etc, like a compact encyclopedia.

To sum up, it is no doubt that the printedbooks have made outstanding
contributionin the development of human history, but now,
there are many reasons that lead people to use e-book. All the factorsmentioned above determined me to draw conclusion that it's time for printedbook to give way to e-book.
