position: Educational environment for students, such as school, college, and university, has its difference to the outside world, however, the purpose of education does not only emphasize to creat an academic environment, but also to prepare for students' entrance to society. Isolation from practical concerns would not be a proper way to help the growth of students.

1. the purpose of education is not to teach knowledge for learning knowledge. Young people go to school to learn knowledge for the purpose that they can use them later. Students select their majors and courses not only for their interests but for their future careers.

2. It is unrealistic to separate aboslutely schools from society. Each country nowadays build schools to cultivate its young generation with both intelligence and capacity to make contributions to the nation. Thus many courses and subjects are settled for fundamental disciplines, principles and situations of the nation. Meanwhile, companies or enterprises also involved with colleges and universities by providing endowments to enhance their popularity and attract elites.

3. However, too many association to the outside world would also bring harm to students. Many countries provide inefficient environment for their students. Developing countries, for example, deposit too many pressures on students. In the warring countries, students always suffer from extremely poor situation. In these countries, we' d rather aspire for a more quiet and stable environment.

4. What is a ideal environment for students? it cannot be made a final verdict for the two reasons. First, there are many flaws and improper experience in educational system. Second, our society is progressing and changing everyday, and schools, colleges and universities must follow the processive step of the times tightly and flexibly.

Position: 教育应该是一个广泛的概念，作者提出的论断有可取之处，但是过分限制了教育的含义
①I concede 学生有时会被外界事物干扰，如电脑游戏等 ，排除这些干扰无疑会在某种程度上提高学习效率。
承上启下：过分限制周边环境，就会起到反向的效果
②从大的含义上看，教育还包括生存教育，生活教育，学术方面的等等
先抛开学术方面的教育，学生是不可能置身于与世隔绝的环境中的。因为他们至少要关心以后如何生存，如何生活。
如果与外界脱离联系，即使研究出了重要问题，再好的学生也会没饭吃。
③对于学术研究来说，闭门造车同样是不对的。投身于实际实践是有利于学生学习的。比如有些学科，管理学，社会学等等

1.        有时候学生的学习过程确实会受到外界的影响。（娱乐活动，游戏，约会）
2.        但是把学生的学习和外界环境隔离开来是不可取的。
外界的体会，经历可以帮助学习内容的理解。有的专业和领域的学习需要外界的经验和经历。学习的最终目的是为了应用，即便是纯理论的研究。了解外界的情况才能培养学生灵活的应用能力。
3．        隔离的行为也是不可能的，学生也需要为以后的工作谋生做准备；也需要培养与其他人交流，交往沟通的能力。

1.        作者对教育的范畴的理解过于片面，其目的应该是培养学生掌握学习，生活，适应，造福社会的能力，只为了学知识而学并因此而与外界隔离不可取的。
2.        探讨教育的目的。不光是学知识本身，更是学习如何去运用，更进一步的说是如何改善，创造知识。学习的过程中更应该联系实践，通过生活的实践促使学生掌握知识，并激发学习的动力。在学习的过程中也需要不断的汲取外界的信息，世界在改变，隔离的环境不利于知识的更新。
3.        学习的范畴不仅停留在学术范围内，更重要的是学会如何与人交流，合作和竞争。（社会化的重要性issue130）
