【求助】一道北美阅读，实在看不明白了....

求助一道北美阅读题NO 6-1 Section 4   

    Some modern anthropologists hold that biological evolution has shaped not only human morphology but also human behavior. The role those anthropologists ascribe to evolution is not of dictating the details of human behavior but one of imposing constraints—ways of feeling, thinking, and acting that ―"come naturally" in archetypal situations in any culture. Our―"frailties"–emotions and motives such as rage, fear,
greed, gluttony, joy, lust, love—may be a very mixed assortment, but they share at least one immediate quality: we are, as we say, ―"in the grip" of them. And thus they give us our sense of constraints.
    Unhappily, some of those frailties—our need for ever-increasing security among them—are presently maladaptive. Yet beneath the overlay of cultural detail, they, too, are said to be biological in direction, and therefore as natural to us as are our appendixes. We would need to comprehend thoroughly their adaptive origins in order to understand how badly they guide us now. And we might then begin to resist their
pressure.

其实文章是说，好的，或者坏的情绪等，都是一样的，没啥好坏之分，但是，现在发展出一些病态的东西，人们却打着文化的幌子说这些病态的东西是因为生物进化的原因，所以他们和阑尾一样正常。但是这是不对的，我们应该回到本源.

E是从文章推理出来的，那些病态的东西并非生物进化的原因，是整个人类环境变化造成的。
A肯定不对么，不符合文章的原意。

这题的确很难，我正好头两天好好研究过这道题了。

既然大家都说A不对 ，我再来多说一点了

这道题，本身可能没有我们想的那么复杂，ets可能题目没大描述清楚，可能问的就是一个结论（resist their pressure）的假设，从而存在一个假设，就是这种maladapted是可以抵制，从而选择E，存在假设，即我们可以改变人类的环境来抵抗这种maladapted evolution（即outpace）。

我开始想的是，题目中的讨论，整个一段都在讨论，这个讨论的前提或者隐含的就是A了，即进化并没有消除maladapted，这说明evolution并没有favor adaptive的特征。
