First and foremost, I would agree with the speaker that a global university is needed because thinking from the global perspective is necessary. When thinking about this, international politics comes immediately to mind. International politics always requires several leaders from different countries to sit together but these politic leaders sometimes think only from their own counties' perspective. In this case, some one who can see things from the global perspective is needed to solve international politics problem. Even in the proceed of solving some civil social problems,  the one who knows much about the global social problems is needed for the reason that they can use the experience from foreign countries to solve civil social problems. As analyzed above, supporting the global university which can teach students thinking from the global angel can benefit most countries.

However, though the original intention of the speaker's advice is good, there are some difficulties hard to overcome. The cost of this kind of university is very high. Who should give this money? The governments of different countries? How much should each government give? These questions are hard to answer. And also, who should be the teachers and professors of this university? Even the location of this university can't be easily selected. Through these questions, one can see that there are many specific difficulties to overcome. Any mistakes in solving these problems may cause the failure or distorting the original intention.

Moreover, even these all problems are solved and finally the global university is built, some other factors which may distort the original intention of the speaker still existed. First, some country may try to control this university by long-term investment and make the university a tool of propagandizing of its mind and value. Second, even if this not happen, the diversity of cultures in this university is still a potential danger. Can you imagine a student from Israel and a student from Palestine study together? Third, discrimination can also exist in this university. These negative factors should not be overlooked when building the global university. The feasibility of building such a university needs further examination.

In the final analysis, the speaker's original intention of building a global university is good. One can see obvious benefits from it as analyzed in the second paragraph. However, through careful analysis, the feasibility of building such university is not well-examined. Unless the difficulties can be solved in proper ways, the global university should not be built.
