------正文------
The author asserts that the destiny of society is determined by how children are socialized today, while our education hasn’t met the needs to raise children who can help bring about a better society. In my point of view, I partly agree with the author's opinion, that is, how to raise children to be socialized is one of most important aspects to the destiny of society, and our educations has made great progress in this aspects, while there are many places needed to be improved.
In the first place, whether the children are socialized influence the destiny of society to great extent. As we all know, the children are the further of our society; we can foretell the tendency of society from the children nowadays. With the development of society, more and more complex issues occur. It is impossible to solve the problem by individuals so that teamwork is necessary. Therefore, it needs children to have such skills like that how to cooperate with others, how to communicate with other, how to deal with the relationship between the people around him, and so on. These skills are the most important signs to evaluate how the children are socialized. These skills are necessary to the success of the children in future. If we want to develop our society better, we should pay attention to how to train our children to be socialized.
However, only how children are socialized can not determine the destiny of society, there are many other factors which play an equally role in it. For example, the value system nowadays will influence the further of society. When children are young, they are inculcated in such conception of value, after they grow up, they will acts according to the value. Also, the law, media, tradition culture also can influence the destiny of society. It is too broad to assert that the children's socialization determines the destiny of society.
In the second place, today's education has made great progress in such kinds of aspects. Educators nowadays place more emphasis on the issue how to train children to be more socialized. In the kindergarten, children are asked to play a game together, thorough which, their ability of cooperation and communication can be raised when they are very young. After they enter the high schools, many related courses open to the students, such as public communication skills, the youth psychology. When they finish a class, teachers may divide the students into several groups , and assign the work for them. They are required to accomplish the work together. In short, in every phase of the education, people pay much more attention on such issue than before.
While, there are also many defects in our education which need to be improved. Since various children have different characteristics. The uniform way to raise children can not be suitable to every child. Some children may be too shy to communicate with other, or open his opinion publicly; therefore, the teacher should encourage him from time to time. Some other students may be too confident to him and refuse to accept other’s opinions. The teacher also should ask him to improve this point. However, in commonplaces, there are many children in a class while only a teacher is in charge of them, he probably neglect these aspects.
To sum up, due to the above mentioned reasons, which correlate with each other to generate an integrate one, and become more convincing than any single one, we may comfortable to say that we should concentrate on how children are socialized, and our education should be kept on improvement so that it can raise every children more socialized. |
