------题目------
Because of television and worldwide computer connections, people can now become familiar with a great many places that they have never visited. As a result, tourism will soon become obsolete.
------正文------
As the trend of society and culture fluxes and ebbs with its specific periodicity and yet processes at its accelerating and eternal pace, people are paying more and more attention to entertainment, with tourism as a significant part. Since science and technology has largely facilitated the daily life, parts of population asserts that tourism will sooner or later be supplanted by merely surfing on Internet alternatively. Concerning all aspects of traveling, on balance, hardly can television or worldwide computer connections take the seat of actual tourism.

Admittedly, thanks to such techniques as television and Internet, common people are now able to seat home, and "travel" all around the world at the same time. With the help of these advanced techniques, persons may get acquaintance with a great many places with little money, little time, and little trouble. Simply pressing buttons fulfills the tasks of getting on the vehicles with packages and spending days somewhere. Apart from the time and money saved, security is also guaranteed. Considering the sceneries under the deep sea, on the top of the imposing mountain, or in the deserted wildness, human beings would be indebted to the development of technology for preventing them from possible danger. All these cases indicate the replacement of tourism by television and worldwide computer connections to some extent.

However, the replacement could be carried out insofar as the absence of the need of further comprehension. Though at first glance, individuals may be satisfied with the convenience brought by technology, a closer examination would imply the deficiency of it. Most significantly, hardly can the screen of television or computer take the place of the true environment, however hard it tries. For one thing, what are able to be taken by the wires only contains senses of vision and hearing, but without olfaction, gustation and touching. Therefore, an individual would never know how fragrant certain flowers smell, how delicious certain specific dishes taste, or how hot the sand in deserts touches. For another thing, even the sight of observers is limited to the sizes of screens, failing to bring the factual impression of the marvelous Great Canyon, Pyramids, Changjiang River or the colossal waterfall. No doubt is why artists still prefer traveling to places with their heavy easels to simply staying in front of the monitors and drawing. Further, it is neither sensible nor feasible for monitor to show all the views from all angles in light of the limitation to mechanics. Besides, it may again poses limits by special weather detrimental for them.

What is more, no more places are "tourists" able to go other than the resorts provided by Internet. Unfortunately, it is mostly the well-known resorts that are introduced, which is substantially unnatural. When the time comes that a person wants to make (perform) a travel in the "informal Great Walls" (I mean the pieces of the real Great Wall not exploited by government for the main public), or the beaches seldom with people, television and computer may fail to fulfill the task (meet the need). Additionally, television or computer is likely to alter the content of places artificially for the sake of not only beauty, but also propagation, because they at times have the responsibility to fascinate new travelers to certain places on behalf of the interests of traveling companies.

In the course of contemporary, when television and worldwide computer connections--the building block of community and culture--have developed to so high a degree (level), ordinary people are more and more convenient to get familiar with lots of circumstances they have never been or will never be. Nevertheless, it could be an exaggeration of the function of television and Internet by assuming the supplantation of tourism by sitting in front of monitors.

As the trend of society and culture fluxes(flows好点吧,我觉得一般都是flow and ebb连在一起的) and ebbs with its specific periodicity and yet processes at its accelerating and eternal pace, people are paying more and more attention to entertainment, with(including) tourism as a significant part. Since science and technology has largely facilitated the daily life, parts of population asserts that tourism will sooner or later be supplanted(substituted,前者有贬义) by merely surfing on Internet alternatively. Concerning all aspects of traveling, on balance, hardly can television or worldwide computer connections take the seat of actual (这次有点怪,用true tourism  怎样?)tourism.(开头好,不同一般套路)

Admittedly, thanks to such techniques as television and Internet, common people are now able to seat home, and "travel" all around the world at the same time. With the help of these advanced techniques, persons may get acquaintance with a great many places with little money, little time, and little trouble.(这句用双重否定怎样) Simply pressing buttons fulfills the tasks of getting on the vehicles with packages and spending days somewhere. Apart from the time and money saved, security is also guaranteed. Considering(imagining) the sceneries under the deep sea, on the top of the imposing mountain, or in the deserted wildness, human beings would be indebted to the development of technology for preventing them from possible danger.
