What makes a good education? Can it be ok to leave education solely to a group of professional teachers without the participation of families and society? The answer is definitely not. There is no doubt that professional educators plays an extremely important role in education, which can not be substituted, nevertheless, a good and complete education also calls for education from parents and communities.

On one hand, in order to lead a better life, we may need an expertise used to pursuit a particular job. But where can we achieve the special skills? Schools are such a place with a group of professional educators of different knowledge. With the help of professional educators, we may choose what ever we prefer to learn, and make a deep research on it. Paper or scientific studies usually carried on by universities provide a good illustrate. What’s more, schools including professional educators and students are able to make an atmosphere suitable to study, in which, question and help is filled.

However, school education has its limits and without other kinds of education such as education from parents and communities a student will not become a really successful one.

On the other hand, education from parents, accompanied with people when they are born, is a necessary part of everyone’s life which helps to sharp our personality. Also father and mother teach us some common sense and simple knowledge that may be useful for our life or further study. Jack Welch, the former CEO of General Electric, said that although he did his job well by using his professional skill getting from school, it is the knowledge given by his mother that helps him a lot, which not only teaches him the way to get along with others but also tells him how to be a good leader.

Apart from parents and professional teachers, society using its own measures also appears to be a special educator. Famous or typical figures set good examples to guide peoples’ life while social consensus and moral rules educate us what to do or not. Confucius, as a saga, taught people at his era to compromise; Socrates and Plato, famous philosophers, made people begin to think; Galileo and Copernicus, though at different time, both enhanced its people question authority; Helen Keller, a blind, dumb and deaf but brave girl, tells us everyone to inspire up and conquer the drawbacks… Besides, as public stress, scandals of politicians disclosed by mediums remind followings to pay attention. Also, communities can be a support of parents and school education. If not for a donation to a poor child called on through the power of society, the child may lose the chance to go to school. This bolster is just the education from communities, a special form of education, which has guaranteed the professional education.

To sum up, school education is significant to students. Nevertheless, without the education from parents and communities students would not develop well. All the forms of education, including schools, parents, and professional educators should combined to make a good and complete education.

2。还有一个是最后第二段，关于community involvement in education的，很大篇幅在讲一些名人的影响力，这个好像和这段的主题有点不搭界，大家觉得呢？

恩，关于那个名人影响力，在读你的文章的时候，我发现咱俩对题目的理解稍有些偏差，你将parents and community involvement in education，理解为它们对school education or professional educators的辅助，我则把它们理解为单独的家庭教育和社会教育，因而才有社会通过名人和模范对其他人产生教育作用（嘿嘿，不过确实好想写得不清不楚的）。

恩，不知道其他人对题目有什么不同的见解，两种理解是不是都可行呢？
