Nowadays, facing the scandals which are great debated problems different persons have their own viewpoints. The speaker concludes that they can attract people's attention and play a useful role in politics, academic areas. In fact the complex nature of the issue asks people consider case-by-case. As far as I am concerned, scandals can help us make politics and academia better, however sometimes they mislead us on the basis of some bad intentions.
To begin with, the leaders in politics can improve themselves and serve better the public after the scandals. When their bad things become known to the public these leaders will pay more attention to them and revise them to improve their images. For instance, if a leader receives some bribe, somebody finds the secret and public it. Therefore his image is damaged due to the bad action. Then he will draw a lesson from it and refuses to do some things which will affect his reputation. This change will make people accept him again and he can behave better to reward the people.   Thus, the scandals in politics are useful for some leaders to erect their better images and do more contribution to the society.
In addition, in the academic field it is also useful to expose some scandals. Some scandals can attract the attention of the public and the person who involves in the thing will have to explain the reasons of the scandals. On the basis of the explanation the public can understand him or make some suggestions to him. All these will lead a hand to development of the academic areas. Taking the medical area as an example, if a doctor wants to do a experiment which need blood of the patient and he is afraid that the patient can not approve his action he takes action without asking the patient. After the thing is exposed people will discuss it and suggest the doctor to tell his purpose to the patient and it will not cause problems to his fitness. The doctor can not do his experiment until the patient approves it. In this way the patient will understand the doctor and work together with him.The thing attract large number of people’s attention, which is helpful to make the public understand the doctor and accept the doctor’s action. It will be useful to the medical area. In fact other fields in academia need some scandals to help them.
However, some scandals are based on some private and bad purposes and sometimes these scandals will mislead the public. For instance, a individual who wants to disparage a person’s reputation publicizes some secrets of the person or compiles some bad things which is not existed. Therefore other persons will mistrust the person. Thus the scandals also have the negative aspects.
IN sum, given the above offered reasons which analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the scandals it is comfortable to reach the conclusion that the scandals which is based on the objective and proper intentions can lend a hand to the society and some misleading scandals should be identified and rejected.
