Nowadays, as our society changes more rapidly, the education has become increasingly important for not only students but also the parents as well as communities. In consideration of this trend, I strongly agree that education has not been the only task for educator, colleges or universities, but it also needs the help of parents and communities in that they may promote the academic success and the problem-solving abilities of the students.

To begin with, there is no denying that educator assumes a leading role in education, especially formal education in the school. It is educators who make decision on which kind of courses should be offered, how long a typical class should last and also how many years does it take for the students to graduate. In fact, just because of them, education can be carried out smoothly and effectively. Moreover, as a teacher, an educator also take up the responsibility to impart the students basic and useful skill, cultivate them the ability of critical thinking and logical reasoning and also make them normally socialized. In addition, those teachers, before teaching, had received sound education for many year, which render them qualified in teaching effectively, which also ensures that students can gain excellent training in the local school.

Aside from the merits mentioned above, we should never lose sight of their shortcomings in adjusting courses and instructing students, say, overloaded assignments, failure of detecting the emotion problems of students, both of which would undoubtedly do harm to the development of students. In that case, they indeed need some help from others in order to overcome those weak points, and certainly, parents can be the best candidate for this work. Parents live the most time with their children, and thus they tend to know them best in most aspects, such as their hobbies, beliefs, ideas, etc. Hence, with the help of parents, educators can get feedbacks and advises on whether the courses given are appropriate or whether the homework assigned is taxing for the student to finish, upon which educators can adjust their given courses and the number of homework resigned. On the other hand, parents also serve to find emotion problems or special talents with their children at first and encourage their children to correct them or go ahead. Albert Einstein may be a good case to illustrate this point. As a child, Einstein is so quiet that somebody even considers him as mentally retarded, while it is his mother who had found his talents in mathematics and encouraged him to explore the domain of that discipline. His fame and renown, at least partly, should ascribe to his mother. Thanks to her, our world retains a prodigy.  

Furthermore, when considering the purpose of education, the importance and function of the communities loom largely. As far as I am concerned, education would not only serve to impart knowledge, but it also prepares the students for better careers in the future. In that sense, communities should be required to involve in the local schools. By doing that, students would be taught to be more responsible and began to examine their belief as well as understand the culture from realistic settings provide by communities, such as the internship, voluntary work, and so forth. Besides, more importantly, the communities can also provide the fund for the development of schools, which can benefit every student greatly.

To sum up, in the ever-changing society, education should be well championed by not only the educators but also parents and communities, in which education would be more effective and efficient and thus make greater contribution to the development of students.
