The appearance and behavior of people reflects their attitudes and interests. Through observance and careful analysis, we can find a society's ideas and values inherently revealed by those things. I totally agree with the contention of the speaker, and I will support my view from the different age of people, such as the elder, the young and the mid-aged.
When it comes the elder, I am inclined to the statement of the speaker is that in order to find tradition and morality in a society, the elder should be the appropriate group to manifest them by their appearance and behavior. Although economy and technology keep on developing without any cessation and influence more and more people, even orientate the bearings of the whole society, in some sense those revolutions and impulses have not dramatically far-reaching effect to elders. Parts of reasons results(result) from that elders have passed the time easily and readily affected and impacted by novelties. In recent decades, many cultures and traditions have been harmed and damaged according to the advanced society. Therefore, those old people, who still stick to the traditional methods of preening, dressing and behaving, are the valuable living fossil that would help us understand the customs and morality of a society. They prefer wearing the traditional clothes,(去掉the) observing the old and valuable principle of morality and keeping the simper life than other people.
As for the mid-aged, those people's attitudes and interests reveal views of the main society, or the so-called values mixed the tradition and modern. As the underpinning of their society, it is undoubted that they can not escape from the influence of the varying society, and some changes inevitably led by the changing society. A huge majority of them put away the traditional dress and wear the suit and pantsuit, which is the standard of dress in modern society. They persist on the traditional virtues and forefather's morality, but at the same time they open mind to accept the effect of new value and morality generated by the society. Consider, for example, the abortion that is the hotly debated topic. To elders, it is a huge problem which can not be acceptable even debate(debated) in their time. However, with the development of human society and people(human society and people??), people become tolerate and respect different people and different behaviors. Their professional dress, new value and morality, and open-mind are the obvious traits of their attitudes and interests and parts of a society..
Turning to the young, it is certain that they possess hints to demonstrate the popularity and the future of a society. In contrast to the elder and the mid-aged, the young might be the more proper people to show the populous things (populous 人口密集的, popular 吧) and the developing direction of a society. Almost all of them can accept any shifting fad, thought, ideas, and value. The first group who starts to play the street basketball is the young; the first group who accept the freedom and democracy is the young;(这小句单复数不一致) and the first group who begin retrieving information in internet and learning from distant course is the young(还有这个句,前面begin, 后面is) . To some extent those people are the most vivid one(ones) and who will keep our society fresh, and bring about progress in the future for the braking outmoded tradition and bad morality.
To sum up, due to analysis above and relevant examples, there is no doubt that more and more people will realize that our appearance and behavior indeed reflect our society's idea and values under some circumstances, for the reason that we are living in this society, and naturally we will represent our society. (for the reason that we are... and that naturally we...)(还有...以前听别人说的不知道对不对..,这种议论文最好少用we,可以用people来代替, for the reason that people are living in this society, and naturally people would represent the society.) |
