When it comes to which way of working is superior, people's attitude vary according to their divergent background and experience. Some contend that working independently is better than working with others. I am far from agree with this statement. From my personal perspective, forming a group and working together seems more advisable.

Firstly, working as a team require more people to participate which leads to greater efficiency and less burden. It is quite manifest. A complex project is divided into several parts, each person in the group take separate responsibilities. Therefore, the average workload of a single individual dramatically decrease. Besides, every part of the project can be done simultaneously which means the process of the project is tremendously accelerated. Therefore, in certain time we can finish more works and thus both individuals and the project get benefit.

Working together also make it feasible to achieve greater goal which demand cooperation of hundreds or thousands of people. The collaboration of ancient Egyptian building Pyramid can give us some insight. Nowadays we become more rely on cooperation. With the effort of teamwork, more advanced computer operation systems such as Windows, which is coded by thousands of programmers, are invented. Work of this kind can never be done with the effort of a single individual.

Moreover, people all have emotional demands when they meet troubles and feel depressed. For modern citizens, the cause of negative emotions is more or less related to their works, as any fulfilment of a task must includes numerous obstacles. Involving in a group can easily help people get rid of those emotions since you can receive both indirect help such as encouraging words and immediate solutions from other team members. While when working alone, you must overcome all those adverse situations by your own strength and courage. That must have been a hard time for anyone to tolerate.  

As I have mentioned above, working together can benefit individuals both physically and mentally. For companies, it also make the achievement of a giant project feasible. This beneficial help can not be provided by working independently. Therefore, I consider it is unreasonable that someone claiming working alone is better.
