At the first glance at this topic, it seems reasonable to blame the natural processes for the extinction of animal species and for human to ignore the protection of the endangered species, but I think that protecting endangered species is so urgent and necessary a task that we human beings will probably be in trouble if we take no actions.

The reason why we should protect the endangered species lies in two aspects, ecologically and spiritually. Ecologic evidence and theory have proved that there are biological chains existing among all the animals, which means a certain species eating its inferior species can actually be its superior species’ food while the superior one can be eaten by another more superior species. Since one endangered animal can be a very important chain link to its superior species, its extinction will cause its superior one to have nothing to eat and to gradually extinct too. One day if cows which are better cooked into wine beef are extinct, human beings will feel regretted not having protected them earlier. Spiritually speaking, we need different animals and species to broaden our view, intrigue our interests and for scientists, they can do research on them to know our living planet more. If we don’t take immediate action, all what we’ve dreamed can only be daydreams.

Even though we’ve known that it is our very duty to protect the endangered species, we still need to know how to start our protection. If we keep blaming nature for making so many catastrophe killing these animals, we won’t be able to effectively act since we can’t control the nature processes. Fortunately, it is mostly due to human beings’ destruction to the environments that more and more species are getting endangered. We all know that the green house effect has caused an unusual climate in the tropic areas, increased the desert areas and thus threatened life of species living in these areas. Who should be responsible? Scientific evidence tells us it was the over-emitting of carbon dioxide gas from vehicles and factories. For another example, over deforestation by human beings destroyed the ecological environment, forcing birds to migrate and break the biological chains, which may cause the superior animals have no birds to eat and die out. It appears that the changing natural environment cause the birds to leave their home, but actually it is human beings that cut down so large areas of forest.

Thus, to sum up, we human beings have no excuse when being blamed for threatening the species, let alone escaping the responsibility to protect those species. Once we stop blaming ourselves for the extinction of other species, the extinction trip of ourselves will really get started from then on.
