The lecture talks about several reasons that privatized spaceflight industry will not have much benefit to science and public. The speaker thinks that the argument in the reading material is quite ridiculous.

First, privatization of space technology have little relative with the cost of space travelling. The control system of spacecraft is quite complex and there is little possibility to privatize the space technology. Also, safety of the travelers is another element should be considered. To travel in space, the craft should be test and retest many times, and this progress cost a lot of money.

Second, privatization of space travel will not only accelerate the rate at which important scientific discoveries occur, but also might make scientists suffer from the business. This directly contradicts what the passage indicates.

Finally, will the expenses of space travel really not be paid for by the whole taxpaying public? The answer is no. To start out a spacecraft, there should be space stations and airports. Building these public facilities will cost much more taxpaying.

如果没有就别写了) will cost much more taxpaying (tax).

lecture talks about several reasons that privatized spaceflight industry will not (have much) benefit (to)可以去掉 science and public. The speaker thinks that the argument in the reading material is quite ridiculous.

First, privatization of space technology have little relative with the cost of space travelling. The control system of spacecraft is quite complex and there is little possibility to privatize the space technology(因为很complex所以expensive). Also, safety of the travelers is another element should be considered. To travel in space, the craft should be test and retest many times, and this progress cost a lot of money.

Second, privatization of space travel will not only accelerate the rate at which important scientific discoveries occur, but also might make scientists suffer from the business. This directly contradicts what the passage indicates

Finally, will the expenses of space travel really not be paid for by the whole taxpaying public? The answer is no. To start out(没有 start out a spacecraft 这个搭配) a spacecraft, there should be space stations and airports. Building these public facilities will cost much more taxpaying.
