Often, governments need to locate money in many aspects in society, such as arts, athletics and so forth. And they have to confront a big problem when spending the limited money that how to spend money fairly. One group believes that governments should spend more money in support of arts than in support of athletics such as state-sponsored Olympic teams, while another group holds the opposite opinion. After considering carefully, I agree with the later point of view. And I will illustrate my opinion with following reasons.

To begin with, few would disagree with the point that exercise is good for health. And spending a lot of money on sports could promote people to realize the importance on it. Governments could build public exercises facilities or organize activities in community for citizens. For example, I just want to attend a morning exercises with others in our community when I hear this new plan. Because exercises provide me with refresh mind and more energy. Another example is that I can learn a lot of methods of exercises from short TV programs. It always reminds me that sports are important to everyone.

Not only can sports keep healthy, but also they instead of nation, especially international sports. In every Olympic Games, athletics try their best to win because of sense of honor. Therefore, they need government to put a lot of money in support of their career. When a team represents a nation, its triumph benefit to increasing cohesion. For instance, athletics often drape over their shoulders with national flags running around the stadium. In short, this kind of winning is far beyond the sport itself.

The third aspect is that spending money on sports contributes to economic a lot. Sportship is an important and special international language between many counties. It can provide with a lot of opportunities for economic, such as international cooperation. In a word, countries can get more from national activities.

In a sum, although arts are important for people, benefit from sports never can not be ignored. And it is reasonable for them to spend more money in support of sports.
