It is human nature to want an indolent life, withouthomework, students will play all games after school instead of reviewing. Takeme for example, when my teacher did not assign homework for me, I would like toso some interesting entertainments, such aswatching television, playing computer games, or playing basketball rather. ThenI maybe forgot what I learned that day. So homework help students consolidatethe knowledge they learned.

In addition, teachers could be aware of howstudents learn. By checking homework, which as a feedback of lectures, teacherswould find the problem their students have and adjust the teaching plan toimprove their educational quality. For somestudents who is too shy to talk with teachers, homework is a better means forthem to communicate with teachers.

Of course, some people indicate thatassigning homework everyday will enhance theload of students. They argue that students should relax themselves and develop what they are interested in after daily hardwork. And they point out that too much homework takes away the natural geniusof students. But I think the advantages of home outweighthe disadvantages, for study is the most importanttask for students.

If all the factors above is considered, wemay safely come to the conclusion that assigning homework everyday is necessaryfor students. I must admit that some people could study well without homework,but no one can ignore the added advantagesoffered by homework.
