Human being is defined as a kind of social animal. While some people may disagree that we are "animals", few will deny that we human beings, for the greater part of our lives, need to cooperate with others in daily lives and glorious endeavors. With the unprecedented speed of accumulation of knowledge and technology, modern people treasure cooperation more than ever.

As the knowledge is now highly specified, indulging in one area and becoming an expert takes a long time and effort. However, many important discoveries call for knowledge from different areas. Take building construction for example, a safe, modern and comfortable building needs experts in geology, architecture,electricity,and even arts. It is through these professors' unanimous effort, we can enjoy the benefits of a well-designed building.

What is more, computer and technology are advancing at a fantastic speed, no one can catch up with the newest skills without the help of others. An individual's resources are very limited, so that it is a wise idea to search for help from others who have already grasp the essence of new technologies. A tutor can give us an overview of one new area; a professor can solve problems we face, a friend can offer us materials we have no time to prepare. Cooperation gives us an edge in acquiring new skills.

Finally, working in a team gives us more than added knowledge and help, in fact, people in a team depend on each other to reach their goals together. Competition in the market is becoming more and more fierce. The more promising an project may seem, the more arduous this journey may be. Colleagues and friends in a team help each other regain confidence in the face of failure, encourage new ideas in discussion, and take advantage of the success as a whole. Without their companion, such success would be unattainable.


In all, cooperation has always been a crucial factor of success, and it will always be. By cooperating with others, we get more knowledge, more help in acquiring skills, and more confidence in ourselves.
