Teacher is such a sacred job that introduces students knowledge and the principles of being a good person. In modern life, people cannot leave with teaching and still obtain an excellent achievement. However, there are also some voices claim that teacher should be paid according to their students’ performance. Personality, it totally makes nonsense for me. Teacher should be paid in an equal way.

The principal reason for my propensity is that a teacher is not able to control the performance of a student. As is known to all, there are always some excellent students and some ordinary students, even some students who have low degrees in an identical class. Obviously, it ups to students that whether he/she does well in studying. The responsibility of a teacher is to teach students in his/her best, but not to determine students’ performances. There are several factions that determine students’ performances. The foremost one is that every student pays different attention and does different degree of diligent on learning knowledge which the teacher has taught them. Another essential faction is that the intelligence of each student is inborn and different. Some students has a high intelligence while others has a low. Although it is cruel, it is a reality. Thus, teachers don’t have the ability to determine students’ performances fundamentally.

Another primary reason that deserves to be mentioned here is that disbursing should be rewarded correspondingly. Liking other occupations that aim at serving the people, teachers serve the students and they are extremely expected to conduct students to perfect persons. As a result, some people are blame about teachers when their children haven’t reached their demand. If teachers will get less caused by their students’ unsatisfactory performance, who will still want to be a teacher? Let me take an extreme example here. In the school of disabled persons, the students here can never be taught into the normal people, should the teacher be responsible for the predictable result and be paid nothing for their incompetence? Evidently, the answer is negative. Otherwise, who will volunteer to company with these meager persons? What I want to say is that each occupation is equal that everyone should be paid for their corresponding diligent.

Even though minority of teachers adopt a perfunctory attitude on their work, almost teachers really treat their students heart and soul. As a conclusion, teacher, as far as I am concerned, should not be paid according to their students’ performance, but their real effort to teach their students.
