In the development and progress of human society, observing, thinking, and generalizing are all influenced or even decided by both objectivity and subjectivity. That means everything has to do with both concepts. To everything, there is no purely objectivity. It will interact with subjectivity. And the observing, thinking, and generalizing are the reflection of concrete material, which is the basis of subjectivity. Without objectivity, it is meaningless for the Subjectivity.
The concept of Objectivity and Subjectivity is in the scope of philosophy. Actually, the objectivity is bound up with the concrete material, while the subjectivity is closely connected with spirit which can be described as consciousness. Both Objectivity and Subjectivity are interacted closely with each other, which cannot be separated or dissevered. The Objectivity is the concrete material foundation which is concept of fact. Compared to it, the Subjectivity is the human's consciousness which is the reflection of Objectivity. For example, when we talk about the height of Amen King who is 1.8 meters, it is true fact that Amen King has 1.8 meters height. But people argue that Amen King is so tall, and other people like Yao Ming objectively claim that he is so short. When people above express their viewpoints, they have already made their decision with their own idea and consciousness. In that case, it is called subjectivity. However, the subjectivity should be based on the Objectivity, like Amen King height, without him, all the argument and conclusion are meaningless.
The process of development and progress of society is that of unification of objectivity and subjectivity. Because we human desire to proceed further and advance more, we should continue to explore and discover the regular and principle of nature and society. However, for many reasons, the recognition capacity of human is very limited, therefore, the process of recognizing is gradually adjustment and accumulation. Through repeatedly exploring, observing and testifying, step by step, the human approximates and goes into the truth. It is the process of subjectivity going infinitely into the objectivity. For example, at first, people think that the earth is quadrate just through judgement of their instinct feelings. After several centuries, people argued that the earth is round by measuring and calculating by simple instruments. At last, people realize that the earth is actually ellipsis through more precise and more intricate measurement and calculation through advanced and complexity instruments. Of course, it is also an important factor that human mind develop broadly. That is to say, the knowledge, idea and facilities influence the development of unification to which objectivity and subjectivity.
Besides, objectivity and subjectivity have been changing all the time. For they are closely relative to material and spirit, the development of objectivity and subjectivity can described as progress of material and spirit. As we all know that the material and spirit in the world has been changing every day, stepping into further advanced status. We human should be responsible for discovering and utilizing the regular and principle of objectivity and subjectivity .
All in all, both objectivity and subjectivity play equal essential parts in developing of human society. It is fault to neglect or disregard one of them. We human should together make good use of both of them and make them contribute to the development of human society.
