身为现代人的我们也是一样。有了民主，有了法制，却依然不断征战，为了利益，为了所谓的信仰。最可怕与可悲的是我们还自诩比自己的祖先进步了不知道多少。

结论。少部分明智之人，但是只有大多数人将此观念植入心中，不断反思，才。。。不过我们确实又是有所成就的，民主，法制对当权者的约束力，言论自由等。


No one would ever know when the first archaeology born, but we should know why we keep study history. What can history tell us? It can only give out the events happened thousands years ago, or customs that our ancestors used to have. However, through all this information, some insightful persons find some mistakes, which somehow is likely to happen as well nowadays though they are thousands years old, our forebears made and call for people try to avoid them happen again. Therefore, by avoiding the mistakes, we are approaching a better world.

By amending ancient books, excavating tombs and unscrambling the cultural relics in them, historians and archaeology try to explain what the history looks like, what our ancestors did, and why they did it. While we are astonished by the amazing art works and the miraculous architecture, such as Mona Lisa, Pyramids, and Great Wall, a deeper concern other than curiosity is haunting in our heads, which is what we could learn from history.

Through a solemnly reading of history, we can prevent mistakes from being duplicating nowadays. In ancient China, the history was made up of many dynasties established in order. A new dynasty was erected to replace the former one which is completely corrupted. The newer one was positive for the society in many aspects, but after a period of time, it was corrupted as well, usually from the authority level. The relatively successful ones lasted several centuries, while more dynasties only existed for several decades before they faded away. All the oligarch of each dynasty made the same mistake. They were so greed that people can afford the heavily exploitation any longer. Therefore some elites rose up and take place of them. Generation by generation, no matter who took the whip, people were always suffering from heavy tax, unreasonable military service and other burdens. All the rulers regarded themselves as unique; however, it is a pity to know that they are all the same at the end of their rules.

As modern people, we are no more than the corrupted rulers. We have invented democracy and bettered the legal system, but we seldom use them on ourselves. In other words, we use them only when we assure that they would not affect our interests significantly. Think of nuclear weapon, we are saying that people are all innocent to be killed in wars, at the same time this slaughter maker killed millions of people and is still affecting the survivors’ lives seriously, even decades after its explosion. What's worse, most people are not aware of that. Living in a unchangeable life would not ever notice people that it will be a tragedy if we keep going without intentionally evading the mistakes.

Some insightful people do realize that people are actually the same, no matter in which period of time they live. But only when the majority of this society understand that we should avoid making the same wrong decisions, which are hardly to be recognized until it's too late, it is safe to say that we are on the right path to better this world. Fortunately, we already get some achievements. Literary persecution no longer exists which indicates that people are free to express themselves as they wish. Also, common sense includes equality in its dictionary, which means everyone faces the same punishment when committed a crime. It's the illusion needs to be broke down.

总体感觉这篇文章脉络不清，题目提到的illusion也没分析到， history的相同及不同压根就没有，读完此文是感觉写如何维持政权，而不是谈study of history的好处。
