History as a mirror is used to represent a study of the past-a study not only of many diffenrence of people who live in viarious periods of history,but also of resemblence that exist in all human being.History is the flooding taking the seed of civilization from the headsteam,and people are megaliths and sands,trying to push or change the way of the water moving;History is a hurtling train taking human beings from the ancience,people are brands of the station showing the running platforms and the way train will go;History are continues long trip,people are the footsteps that cut far-flung journey.When there is no advancement of history,there is no development of human civilization.When there is no famous people who affect the processing of the history,human would stay in the ancientry.


People who live in different periods of time have a lot in common,such as they are all honesy and kind.These resemblence make human progress and give human the drive and power to go ahead.Through reading their stories we can learn a lot from them and better understanding about today.
We are told that our basic human nature consisting of desires,motives,fears,and etc.have remained constant over recorded time.Through this realization,we can benefit as a society in dealing more effectively with our enduring social problems.



People in different periods of time experience distinct life,so they have a lot of dissimilars.In terms of faith and values,modern people differ greatly from people who lived in the Middle Ages in the West.In terms of life styles,contemporary Americans have almost nothing in common with their puritan ancestors-the first settlers in the New World.Even in the same period of time in history,people living in one culture could be different in many ways from people in another culture.It is equally beneficial to understand and appreciate significant differences between peoples of different time periods-in terms of cultural morals,customs,values,and ideals.Due to these we can develop from the primitive to the molden human being.



We all grow from the one generation to another generation and history give us an opportunity to find the commoness and otherness in people of different periods.Through study history,we can find that in some degree we are like our ancestors but in another degree we have our own destiny in this times.



However,there are other equally important benefits of studying history. The study of history help people see the evolution process of human civilization.The forepassed success can imotivate our inspiration and the past lessons can tell us don’t fall into the same hook.Taking Chairman Mao for a example,In the his legendarable life,the persons and things from history give him a lot of enlightenment whenever he counter with enemies or meet with friends and colleagues.
