Multiple funded Ph.D. positions are currently available in Prof. Yeqing Wang’s research group in the Aerospace Engineering Department at Mississippi State University (MSU), Starkville, MS. The research directions include, but are not limited to, high temperature polymer/ceramic based composite materials, laser interaction with polymer matrix composites, plasma-material interaction, electric discharge machining, heat and mass transfer under extreme conditions, lightning strike damage analysis of composite materials. Dr. Wang (yeqwang@reef.ufl.edu) is currently a postdoc research associate in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at University of Florida, Gainesville, FL and will join the faculty of MSU in August 2018.
