发邮件问教授收不收新学生，介绍了一下自己工作于其吻合之处，未附CV，得到回复如下：

I will have 1-2 openings next year, but my policy is not to
offer research assistantships (RAs) to incoming students

before I have the chance to observe their performance in coursework and research.
So, if you choose to apply to the University of XXX
get accepted and decide to join, then I will consider your

candidacy 1-2 semesters later.

大家收到这样的回复多么？这个回复是此老师真的如此？还是委婉的表达不要我？

求问大神~
