据我所知

有TESOL这个专业的学校并不多啊，而且好象很多都是没有奖学金的。

若为自由故，二者皆可抛。

girlana：以上讨论的都是教育学这个领域内的小分支，也就是我们以后要学的专业方向。而你所说的master of education是一种学位。

我们讨论的这些专业一般授予2类学位：Master（Master of Science或者Master of Education），Doctorate（Doctor of Philosiphy或者Doctor of Education）。你在选择专业的同时也要选择好申请的学位，因为不同的学位的培养目标是不同的，也就是说毕业后的就业方向是不同的。

I suppose it is difficult to apply for TESOL/TESL.They can admit you but no financial assistance.I applied for many last year but only with several admission and only two RA/TA.If you lack experience of teaching English for foreigners in US,it would be hard when competing with Americans who has advantages in this field.

In memory of my beloved mentor Ted Grace, who always inspires me how to face life in a more positive way. Lucky me to meet you in America. I'll never never let you down.

hui2003,
What program are studying now? I am still applying to TESOL Master's programs. I have almost 4 years of English-teaching experience and also multi-cultural teaching backgroud. I really wonder the chance of my application.
Any suggestion or advice in choosing schools and the whole application process?
