As two significant roles in the long river of human history, politics and morality interact reciprocally to impetus the progress of the society. Hence, to separate them into two isolated realm give birth to the nightmare, in which our society would collapse.

Admittedly, morality and politics are two different concepts to some extend. Morality is ideal behavior standard of a regime. Since it is accordance with customs, family and like that, morality is relatively stable ideology throughout the history and deals with the matters between persons or persons and groups. It is restricted by the conscience. While politics, it is backed by the coercive power of police, legislature and other national mechanisms. It comprises dynamic and complicated matters, which is full of compromise and balance in affairs at home and abroad.

However, they are not completely mutually exclusive. In the past or today, they both execute the similar functions--to maintain the development of the society as well as to conciliate the confliction and collision among persons. Sometimes, they even rise to combine into common ideology despite their various appearance forms. In Western, the politics always accompany with the moral standard, Christian; In Middle East, the politics is bound to Muslim. Politics links with morality closely and morality penetrate into politics deeply, vice versa. Recently, the ground sea in Indonesia becomes the focus of the world. Not only individuals but also nations let their hand out to help Indonesia rebuild their home. Although the action comes from humanity, won't we regard it as a political action? it is called " the Diplomatism of Succor". As aftermath, the succor nation can gain the support of Indonesia on international issues.

Furthermore, they change each other. As is known to all, the temporary morality is distinguished from the ancient one. In ancient, the polygamy is common but nowadays, it is illegal so that a person who gets married spontaneously with two couples, he must imprison or pay penalty. For politics, by coercive means of laws and regulations, the beneficial aspects of morality will be advocate while the detrimental ones will be thrown away as time goes by. On the other hand, morality influences politics, as well. If the politics betray the fundamental moral standard, it is no guarantee that the government in power will perpetuate. Thus, the politics should cater for morality’s favor.

Last but not least, they contain each other. If we emphasize one but ignore the other, the adversities impend. The whole world will certainly not forget Hitler, who pushed us into the abyss. Since his cruel and inhumane politics, innumerous persons lost their home. But if morality is advocated only, the moral framework is so vulnerable that anyone is able to break it. As a word, the politics and morality perform one play on the stage of world. There are both leading roles.

To build a wonderful world of home, the politics and moralities are two useful instruments. Only holding one, we will deflect from the road. As long as we command them together, we can understand the world.
